not too sure abt fusso, but generally sealant take 1 day to "eat in" , so next day then can wax. , try tracing back the thread sure will find the answer. [thumbsup]

Anyone interested in Soft99 Fusso 3? bought an extra bottle while I was in Japan.

Price is $19.

I can only meet after 12 OCT as I'm still overseas now.

Buy the way. may I ask can't I used the Fusso directly after shampoo and Clearbar and dry the car?

Does it would the same as the Klasse AIO , cos I read the instructions and it states that we can apply it after the car is shampoo Claybar and dry and the Fusso has also cleaning effect on the car surface (so I though its like AIO)

Please advice

I mistakenly bought the soft 99 iridium wax. Is it any good?

BTW, I am stating at HDB flat and i intend to get my car washed at petrol kiosk before waxing, do I need to dust off with feather duster when I drive back to the carpark?

I have no experience washing cars with piles !!!!!!!!! [crazy]

mine is a new car - about 1 month old. Not doing clay for now. The paint still look good and trying to protect it with sealant and waxing for now.

The idea of washing at HDB carpark......phew I haven't try it out...... using pails, I am not sure I am up to it yet. I am trying to search the forum on how to wash car by pails [scholar].

So i thought of getting it washed at petrol kiosk nearby my home, and drive back for sealant and waxing only.

Will do the proper claying, polishing later when I am back in my hometown in Malaysia.

Southpark,

forgot to mentioned that i bought the fusso 9 months too.

i am using the fusso 9 mths + iridium wax. (am thinking to buy 3m swirl - spotted some swirl marks too). But my problem is to get the car washed first before applying it.

Thought to get it washed at kisk early Sunday morning and drive it back to HDB carpark and apply the 9mth + wax but a bit worried of the dusts on my way back. So can I just use the normal feather duster to the dust? or get a water rundown and dry it again?

Personally I wouldn't do it that way if I were you, cos I do not trust those manual car wash guys.

Besides, if you read up on any detailing DIY guide. The first thing they mention about washing the car is to make sure the car has cooled down first before shampooing and drying etc.. Do you think driving the car to the manual car wash and letting it be shampooed and wash while the engine is running is the best way to keep the car clean?? Most people find its OK but I prefer to do it on my own. You have to decide for yoursef but I am sure the way the cars are being washed is damaging to the car paint in some way.

I think none of us here started out as a detailing guru. We all have our learning curve and trial & errors. The only way to learn how to wash a car is: JUST DO IT. And soon you will discover and find out for yourself the best way of washing a car.

Washing a car at the MSCP with pails is easy. Just make sure you bring at least 2 big pails. Rinse car with water. Shampoo (top down). Rinse off water. Dry car. That's it.

If you really have to get the car washed at the kiosk. I think you can use damp cloth to wipe it off. Just remember to let the car cool first before applying the Fusso 9 months.

Q: How far is the carwash frm yr hm?

Best is to wash yrself. Reason is that u might get dust, and tree sap, etc. on yr way back [sweatdrop]

Water rundown is good. Then again, if doing water rundown, why not wash it yrself? [:|]

U mean u got energy to detail yr ride but no energy to wash car?!!! [hur][:p]

Wash car is easy lah, esp. with the right tools. And definitely prevents much of the swirl marks cos' u in control. U can't control wat the folks at petrol stations use....dunno how dirty or soiled the rags and towels they use....[sweatdrop] No. 1 contributor to the swirls that u see on yr ride...
