Not exactly the paint but the plastic that degrades by strong uv of own sun. It may also happen to your headlights. You may observe from the cloudy headlights of jap and China make cars .

Ok thanks. I understand what you meant just that I don't have this problem with my 9 yo Mitsubishi so was really quite taken aback to see the discolouration on a at most 1yo car. Thanks anyway.

Just changed my rear bumper reflector to LED reflector with lights. It is a direct replacement of stock rear bumper reflector to lights. The LED reflector lights will enable your car to be seen more easily during night time or raining period to improve your safety so as to protect your loved one. Wires are connected to head light and brake light.

Suitable for Harrier, Camry, Wish, Picnic, Rush

PM me your contact number if you are interested

Hi

I'm looking urgently for a Toyota Welcab, any model/age. My relative is wheelchair bound, just discharged from hospital. Buying new takes 5 months! Cannot find resale anywhere!

Please help!

Turbocharged

This is a bit OOT but in a way, relevant to all Jap brand vehicles.

Got a plant tour at Toyota Japan last week. Nice tour.

Anyway, what I did learn is that their parts are manufactured all over the globe. But they only have a few plants in some selected countries doing the final assembly.

I had always thought that robots do most of the work, including assembly but I was wrong. A lot of it still done by men/women. And I think this is where QA counts.

I can see the dedication and expertise of the Toyota Jap staff. Maybe that is why MIJ Jap vehicles seem to be of a better finish than the MIT ones (based on earlier comments made in this forum).

My wife commented that if our next car is going to be a Jap brand (whichever Jap brand), it needs to be MIJ.

New Camry

A bit disappointed. SE had whatsapp me that the new 2.5l model will be displayed at Leng Kee from saturday onwards, but decided to wait till 2.0l is also here.

Was hoping for the 3 spoke sporty steering wheel (HK and Japan and 1 thailand model have it), and integrated HU rather than dump in standard 2DIN HU.

With car price at such high level, most car clubs are dead, not many can afford to play cars. Most move to play bicycles instead?

Hi guys, sorry I'm pretty new here and will like to seek your advises.

Recently, my family bought a new car with guaranteed COE but it was not stated in the contract paper handled to us after we paid the deposit.

We called the agent and was told that we can get the receipt from him, I'm feeling a bit unsafe now, anyone met such incidents and will like to advise any preventive measures on my next trip down?

Thanks a lot! Pardon if I'm noob at this.

Are you buying from Authorised Dealer like Borneo Motors or Parallel Importer?

Usually if you are gettting guaranteed COE package it is clearly stated in your order form.

Yeah buying from Borneo Motors, may I know how is it stated in the order form? Is it that the package word is circled or?

The COE rebate level for both non-guaranteed and guaranteed COE are different. Your SE should have indicated the COE rebate amount in the form when you book the car. What model did you buy and when did you book the car.

My COE rebate for the new Altis Elegance is 63k, this amount is stated in the order form but package/non-package was not signed. It was bought on Thursday, after the new COE have increased.

Tally the COE rebate with the price list. The price list should have indicated the COE rebate for both the guaranteed and the non-guaranteed COE rebate.
