Thunder Neutral Newbie December 24, 2004 Share December 24, 2004 Hi, I just had one installed in my ride. If I am not wrong, there are capacitors which is normally charged up when your engine is running. When electrical components suddenly draws power, these capacitors will discharge to compensate for the sudden demand. By doing so, the fluctuation of power supply will be less thus making the electrical system of your car more stable. Madsumm 1st Gear December 24, 2004 Share December 24, 2004 (edited) Z-Stab is not voltage stabilizer. Its Impedence stabilizer. Works differently from Volt Stab which uses Capacitor to compensate. For ICE, I think Volt Stabs works like your 1F or more Cap. So if u have Cap, I don't think u need it. For improvement, more psycological then real I think. Papercup Neutral Newbie January 6, 2005 Share January 6, 2005 (edited) Nope. They don't have the stock for the pivot grounding cables. They recommended another japanese brand (but I didn't really catch the name maybe next time when I go there againI will take a not of it). They are silver in color and 5 in total. Cost about $100. It really compliment the voltage stab. The engine is a lot smoother after doing both of them (I did the Pivot Stab first and a week later did the grounding).
