Moreover, some bros recommend doing it after 5-10k mileage to see if it really works. So far have not heard very good reviews. Mine's an altis, what's yours? Slonez Clutched March 20, 2005 Author Share March 20, 2005 Update. Just installed my E-Power today. Almost forgotten about it until I saw it in my store a couple of days ago. Already can feel the car more responsive (less time lag when I floor the acc. to overtake). Need to observe a while to see the effects on FC, aircon, etc. Cheers! Kax2 Neutral Newbie March 26, 2005 Share March 26, 2005 there are 2 types of raizin leh. One cost $200+ comes with 5 point grounding on itself and the other is just the voltage stabilizer itself which cost around $100.
Octopus 3rd Gear March 26, 2005 Share March 26, 2005 hi..just when to the shop in bukit batok and was quote $210 for the razin voltage stab/w grounding though was $110.as for the $110 package is the (max volt)w/grounding. I think the more expensive type is from Japan. The $110 package comes from Taiwan.
Discoburg Supersonic March 27, 2005 Share March 27, 2005 E-Power Voltage Stab $188 retailI can get the E-power for $88 brand new. However i heard pretty bad reviews on it, can anyone here add to that?
Slonez Clutched March 27, 2005 Author Share March 27, 2005 (edited) What bad review? Please provide more info. I thought E-Power was reviewed & dynoed & has pretty good result. I felt I get better engine response with it but cannot comment on FC cos my soundproofing & ICE added some weight to the car. Beware of E-Power look alike on the market, I've seen a couple of them. Discoburg Supersonic March 27, 2005 Share March 27, 2005 Just heard that some of his mechanics car battery went dead on them soon after fixing up the e-power. Well i am also pretty interested in it.
Kax2 Neutral Newbie March 27, 2005 Share March 27, 2005 Still out of stock. They have another package at $160 ... suppose to be better quality. So is the Razin and Pivot the same thing or not? Pivot is the brand. Razin is the name of the voltage stabilizer by Pivot. There are 2 type of Raizin. One with 5 point grounding and another with no grounding so u can use any grounding cables you like or already have.
Genew Neutral Newbie March 27, 2005 Share March 27, 2005 Broz, using E-Power. Auto car. Not bad :) Bought it around $150++. IF 88 bucks.. have to watch out. quite a few imitation ones running around.
Kax2 Neutral Newbie March 27, 2005 Share March 27, 2005 Saw a imitation of raizin from taiwan at Mcwell's. Same blue box and same printing on the back. Although it's less detailed and uses different font.
Discoburg Supersonic March 28, 2005 Share March 28, 2005 I am sure if its is McWell selling the imitation goods, they will surely tell you so right?
Xt15mx Neutral Newbie March 28, 2005 Share March 28, 2005 Hi, Just to share. I got 2 voltage Stabilizer. First 1 is E-power. When connected to battery. There is a Blue LED light and gone immediately when disconnected. Second 1 (I forgot the brand). When connected to battery. There is a Blue LED light and slow blinking away when disconnected. Hope I was not con by mechanic. He mentioned that the Voltage Stabilizer suppose to store some voltage. That is used to stabilize when voltage drop. So it blink show that there is voltage store inside and slowly drain off when disconnected. ????????? ↡ Advertisement
