For vios, you might want to go to the shop and see if it can fit in. Frankly, I doubt so as it's quite thick.

Me wondering if it can feed below my vios car seat?

 

Plan to buy the Pioneer TS-WX22A subwoofer and place it under the driver seat, but I already have my power amplifier and CD changer under the seat. There is a storage tray under the passenger seat.

 

I am driving a Toyota Wish, might able to place it inside the rear boot truck space.

 

 

Another question is, I am wiring it up myself, could I parallel the rear speaker signal from the amplifier to the subwoofer using the Y-connector?

Mr Foon told me that the active sub can be fitted below my seat. But no stock....

Need to go down again another day, tomorrow or next monday for the stock to arrive.

I dont need very powerful sub, but most importantly it must be able to fit my backseat.

I think alpine and kenwood might fit the bill but not really sure. You can google and check out their Sub and see the spec.

 

Not too sure if the pioneer one can do anot. You can check it out also.

Pioneer have 2 model:

 

1) TS-SW124D Shallow-Type Subwoofer

2) TS-WX22A Sealed Amplified Subwoofer

Try looking at Steelmate as well..

 

As the name implied, it's really enclosed in steel..

 

But AudioEdge don't carry this brand. Try Pin Liang or Chuan Sing.

I think TS-SW124D Shallow-Type Subwoofer is a passive sub.

 

Unless he wanted to add a Amp to drive it, he can just opt for an Active.

I agree active sub owners normally will upgrade... I'm one of them, will be selling off the 10" Audiobahn one soon to change to a 12" sub with customised enclosure. Active sub don't provide enough depth in the bass.

Pioneer have very good review from users..

 

while steelmate is from china but hear say hear say the quality is not too bad either.

 

Might be cheaper also.

Pioneer is better - have experience with both and installed Pioneer in the end!
