Biccat Neutral Newbie September 10, 2006 Share September 10, 2006 Just make sure additional security measures are taken. Anyway, fate is something that cannot be determined.
Darkair Neutral Newbie September 11, 2006 Share September 11, 2006 Hi Biccat, Good to hear that you had a good trip... By the way, did you notice a slight humming sound when you acclerate at different speeds? I seem to be able to spot a slight humming sound when i depress the accelerator pedal.. it seems quite negligible but i'm curious to know if its normal. Im reaching my 5k servicing now, do i need to change the auto transmission oil? Do you advise changing to fully synthetic at the 5k servicing? My authorised workshop is using mobil or castrol engine oil i think.. Thanks!!
Biccat Neutral Newbie September 11, 2006 Share September 11, 2006 Didn't take note of it. Maybe, some of our fellow bros did. Still too early to change your transmission fluid right now. Go for a light synthetic as recommended by Honda in the owners' manual. Didn't use their synthetic cos the only grade that they carry is 5W40. Biccat Neutral Newbie September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Remember someone did stated in his forum that he is selling his Airwave due to its apparent 'lack of power'.
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Hi There, There is a "humming" sound if you rev your engine to < 2.8 rpm. Or if you switch to 'S' mode and step the accelerator pad about half way. I believe the torque is high during that "sweet spot". Not too sure about other airwavers. There are times when the car feels sluggish. But when the air intake is cool and water temp is low (using my Blitz R-Vit to read :) the car feels eager to run. Not sure if I am reading it correctly. But any one experience this? Cheers.
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Ha! Wrong sign used. Should be > 2.8K rpm Cheers.

Ngempire 2nd Gear September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Is normal at run in stated.. Btw rpm going up when u release your paddle (travelling down slope) is still there, is normal too. May be only for honda..

Rocky88 Neutral Newbie September 13, 2006 Share September 13, 2006 Yes I feel it too. I guess its normal. The vibration will be worst if u use the 'S' gear. Did anyone installed Broquet BoostMaster 40? I just did. Suppose to improve FC and engine performance. Well, I'll have to watch out for my next few tanks of petrol to monitor the improvements.. To any airwavers who had installed Broquet, what's ur experience?
Biccat Neutral Newbie September 13, 2006 Share September 13, 2006 Got it in my last ride - Snake oil.

Can we use these two as overdrive? Can we switch from "d" to "s" when travelling at 80km/h? Or are they used at low speeds only? did you install stabiliser or your ride or changed the spark plugs/airfilter? I m considering changing my spark plugs at my 5k servicing, any advice? PEOPLE! are you averaging 12km/l, 30% highway, 70% main road..is it me or the car? Anyone servicing their rides at Jackspeed? My mileage is on 4.8k now...any kaki's ride up for servicing too?
