My ride has this P0400 error display on the OBD-II. As suspected it was the same problem which the distributor could never explain since day 1. They did a replacement of the EGR valve and sensor about a year back. the pinging noise from the EGR filter box lessen but did not go away entirely. I tried to change from RON92 to at least RON95. there was not much improvement. Anyone knows a good workshop experienced in Mit cars that can solve this problem. It's not irritating but when coming to low idle, the car will jutter, as bros Saaber has noticed.
