  1. A man believed to be in his 30s was found dead in front of the Swissotel The Stamford at Raffles City on Tuesday afternoon. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call at 12.40pm and sent an ambulance to the scene. The man, who is believed to have plunged from a height, was pronounced dead at the scene. Foldable screens were set up to obscure the gruesome scene, where at least four areas were covered with white plastic sheets. The man's body which lay nearby was covered with a blue police tent. One of the hotel's restaurants on the ground floor, Introbar, was also temporarily closed, with foldable screens set up to cover its full-length glass windows which faced the walkway outside. 2. Happened last night at 1 am. The mum who just got married last March jumper down from the 25th floor with her 6 month old daughter in her arms. Reminds me of the bedok reservoir case when the mum committed suicide with her 3 yo son due to depression last year.
  3. There was no video attached here but the footage which I saw on the news a few days ago was really really [sweatdrop] Bros who have toddlers inside your car better belt them up in child seats or restraints and make sure you activated the child lock as well as locking all 4 doors whenever you are on the move. You do not really want your kid to be another road statistic in TP/LTA records... From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...save_child.html Posted on 14 May 2012 Best dad ever -- he puts daughter before his car and even his own life When his four-year-old daughter fell out of his moving car, this man did not hesitate for a second -- he leapt out of his vehicle to save her, leaving his driverless car to smash into a tree. STOMPer minzy said: "This father was really brave to jump out of his car like that. "Especially in the middle of such a huge junction with cars. "I really applaud him, because most people would've panicked in the moment and been frozen."
