  1. Recently I have been noticing some issues with road signs. Some are blocked by other road signs (too close together ) or by trees. Anyway today at my MSCP some people were spray painting the signs. When I returned, I realised the signs conflict and it also makes the whole place more dangerous. And yes I have feedbacked to HDB as well. So maybe if you encounter road signs that are blocked or signs like this maybe we can share here and be on look out for similar signs.
  2. Do a person waiting in lane 1 have access to all 1,2,3 lane on straight road? I was in lane 2 while turning right, but when i try filtering in lane 3 this bike standing in lane 1 want to get in lane 3 and start showing me gestures like i should have gone in lane 4. After he filtering in 3rd lane, he went back to lane 1 to get in MBFC car park.
  3. Hi Bros/sis, To be honest, being a new driver means I am still familiarizing myself with Singapore roads. Rainy weathers poses quite a big problem when lane markings begin to disappear either under water or in its worn out condition. Reporting to authorities about the worn out markings can be quite an issue for new drivers like myself who have problems identifying the stretch of road or pin pointing the junction/location. So this will require bros and sis who have more experience to aid in listing out these zones. I do not know if this thread will be useful or even actively used, but I thought might as well just make an attempt to do it and see how it goes since our bros/sis have always been there to answer all my queries. If post(s) starts coming in, I'll contact the authorities again to note the contribution by our community. Thread Rules: (Please COPY the existing latest list, add on your own items below it, afterwhich, post it as an updated FULL list) Thank you
  4. Many times, I come accross some taxi drivers who would purposely drive so close or on the lane marking that without signal, would just cut into your lane or making you difficult to judge whether he is keeping left or right lane. This is so during traffic jam situation and the taxi was driving on the lane marking and which ever lane is faster, the taxi would just switch into that lane without due care and consideration for the vehicle behind him. One or twice, I would move so close (keeping to my lane) to the taxi and our side mirror almost touch. I would take a look at the taxi driver and he show sulk face and mumbling something. Why can't they keep to the centre of their lane????
  5. Read an article on Today saying motorists especially taxi drivers flouted the red markings rulings on day one of implementation. As always, instead of solving problems now they create another problem for taxi drivers. From now, be careful when driving behind taxis, they may stop suddenly in the middle of road to pick up or alight passengers. Welcome to Singapore World Class Transport System.
