  1. Hi all Would like to check on something. While i understand that if the coe is not obtained, there would be a delay in getting the car. However, if the downpayment has been made and that the COE has been obtained, why does the AD now tell me that they have no stock on hand to deliver based on the agreed timeline of delivery? Wondering if anyone has experienced this and to what effect can this be resolved? thanks!!
  2. V-Power = 380km 98 = 350km 95 = 320km How I did it was to reset my meter after filling full tank. Empty fuel light comes on and I immediately went to top up fuel. At that point I take down how far I have travelled with the previous tank of fuel. Did my calcuation and realized I will be paying $5 more for V-Power compared to 98 based on distance per dollar. Decided to go with V-Power cos of the gourmet feeling! Hahahaha! Curious... would it be possible to feel the "pull" difference between 95 and V-Power when accelerating?
  3. [inline SSOG4.jpg] Got a quote from the sticker shop at IMM where MCF had their decals done there as well, for the design attached above... Please indicate the size ! It's a full color production. Indicative price for a 100pcs of decal is SGD$320. It will be too expensive to produce running number, therefore, those running numbers will be manually stick on to. The cost for those number on to the decal is SGD$1/number. 01is considered 2 numbers. Therefore there are 80 numbers altogether. Total cost is SGD$400. Looking forwards to hear from you again. After telling them if we can have 50 pieces only... We will try to fulfill your request. Firstly, always the initial order is costly to us because the preparation of negative and its cutter. On top of it, your present artwork is a full color preparation and that mean we require multiple negatives. However, we sincerely understand that you are trying to have an identification decal for your member despite having a small number of members. In the case you only take 50pcs, we still have to produce somewhere 150pcs. Anyway, we can only give you a $10 deduction and that mean the total cost is SGD$390. Hope you can now have a better picture of our costing. We look forward to hear from you soon and even if youn have decided not to give us the job, please also feel free to contact us if you require any clarification. Please come down to our outlet at IMM Bldg #03-13 and we have good sticker for your car and personal collection too. Thank you and wishing you and your fellow members "Gong Ci Fa Cai" in advance. Good day. Currently there are probably only 10 to 15 of regular members here... Assuming it's $4 per decal and each member gets 2 pieces = $8, and we manage to collect from 15 members = $120 ... which means the outstanding amount would be $280 from the required $400 for initial payment. Can't expect me to fork out $280 right? Any suggestions anyone? Was wondering if Servo/Vassauto or Red Dot will be willing to sponser the rest after which they can sell the rest of the decals to new members ... After obtaining quotes from several companies, I think this deal is pretty good and cheap, as we get the decals plus the customization of the numbers at only $4 each Just that we need to do 100 pieces Just that the required amount of money for payment is a problem here. Any suggestions from anyone?
  4. Hi guys, I've been of the board for a while because I was very busy with a new business and my new home. Last thursday I have had a very bad accident with my car. I cannot remember exactly what happened, the only thing I know is that my car started skidding at the back at 110 km/h and I went from the left lane to the emergency lane skidding. At the emergencylane there was a truck with a flat tire. I hit the truck at the back going about 100 km/h. I cannot remember hitting the truck. When I woke up the firedepartment was there and the paramedics. It took 1,5 hours to cut me out of the wreckage. The only thing I have is a black eye and a lot of cuts and bruses. People that arrived at the accident site could not believe I was still alive. This evening the police officer called that was the first to arrive at the scene of the accident. He couldn't believe I was already home and able to talk at the phone with him. My body is recovering quickly. Emotionally I will need months to recover from this accident. I cannot believe what happened to me (others get accidents or die, you don't). I have discovered that life can be over in a split second. I am very thankfull I am still here because I am gonna get married on saturday in 2 weeks. Friday (the day after) I was released from the hospital and my brother picked me up in my mothers 318i. I cried when I got in the car because I got so emotional about the dashboard. This is the reason why I am going to buy an E-class or a 5-series because I do not want to be confronted with the same dashboard again. And I want the biggest car I can afford. I don't know if I can attach pictures, maybe a moderator can help me because there are pictures of the accident site while paramedics are helping me in my car (no bloody pictures). Be carefull guys 100 km/h or 60 mph doesnt seem to be fast. But it can kill you in a split second if you loose control of your car. Life is to precious to loose. Good luck, and I'll let you know what car I'm gonna get.
