Hey Freddiefreako,

No problem but unfortunately no ...passengers especially children in concern still can open from inner unless the tedious child lock is used.

The issue here is the lock system designed as well as the software logic but primarily the later. They can easily change to existing superlock function that deactivate the lock and if you have the 2.0l which is without superlock, you can change the physical locks to tiong ones which catch like typical Jap cars. I bought the complete tiong qashqai locks system and had tried them but still cannot resolve the 1.2L one.

Cheers.

Richard

Yes. Agree that our stock tyre continental is very noisy. Hope someone can share here if they have switched to any quieter ones.

Hi dash1234

Like my "twin" Marcostan, we are both on Michelin Primacy 3-ST, 235/55 R17. I find it quite a bit quieter than our stock Continentals

Hi bros

I have driven my QQ 1.2 for more than 1200km.

I find the ride getting harder (and bumpy) as days go by, is it common?

What can I do to rectify it?

Also, I am thinking of changing the halogen headlights to LED.

does it void warranty and/or illegal?

Appreciate any kind advice, thank you bros~

Bumpy ride?

Check your tyre pressure. Your pressure should be around 230~240 kpa.

Suspect your tyre pressure is over-inflated.

HID, LED or bulb with temperate higher than 4.3k (iirc) are illegal.

But thing for LED is plug n play.. easier to revert. For the headlight design of QQ, actually easy to change and no need worry abt what type of LED design to pick (heatsink with fan or fanless) cos there is no dust cover just plug in and leave the heatsink outside.

Will do a head light replacement demo once my set is at my door step

thank you bro, guess i will stick to halogen bulbs for now.

np. actually i dun drive a QQ but my colleague do and I recently checked the headlights area.

For my ride, I bought a LED bulb but due to design, I have a adapter to hold the original halogen bulb in place where the 2 pin to be inserted on adapter and then will lock the adapter in place.

With the design of LED bulb, i can connect the bulb to adapter but i cannot clip it in place as its bulb -> heatsink/heatstrip -> driver->PIN.

Last resort is to use the dust cover to hold the bulb in place after i close it due to the length. But then it is too long to even close the dust cover lol FML

Had to order another dust cover to drill hole for the heatstrips/heatsink to come out so i can close the dust cover. By doing that, it should also hold the bulb in place.

Hi Richard,

Can I know where this ground cable (blue arrow) is attached. One end is the chasis the other? A picture would certainly be most helpful.

Thanks again [nod]
