I drive a QQ2.0 and never had it come across as jittery. It rides harder due to the 19 inchers but most cars with large wheel sizes do anyways.

If you like to 'feel' more road, the 19 inchers are totally fine.

Keep the tyres inflated to the recommended pressure and you'll be fine.

Driving my QQ for about a month and agreed with MooDriver  comments.

Hi dash1234

Like my "twin" Marcostan, we are both on Michelin Primacy 3-ST, 235/55 R17. I find it quite a bit quieter than our stock Continentals

Hi Lee9389ck,

Do they accept trade in stock continental? If you change from stock 215/60 R17 to 235 or even 245, do you have to change the rims too?

Thanks in advance,

HLim

I got the same thing during the heavy rains over the weekend.

Monitoring the situation and will highlight during my 1k servicing.

I had this problem (fogging of headlights) on my 3rd day of driving my QQ. Call TC and was informed that it is normal for new head lights to fog and it will disappear the next day.

Not sure if they are trying to 'smoke' me, but the fog disappeared the next day and now 3 months on, never see fogged headlights again.

This is a common complaint of QQ owners.

Probably due to installation of local components of the HU by local TC contractors not being secured properly.

Send your car to any TC service centre of your choice and they should be able to fix this quite easily.

I don't have this rattling sound.

Instead I got this sound similar to scooter exhaust sound...like .... tooh tooh tooh tooh....

it is irritating especially when the engine stop, the whole cabin quiet except for this sound.

I get this sound after about 1 to 2mins after i start the car. I think it is aircon because it disappear when i switch off the aircon.

Could it be not enough refrigerant ?

Workshop advised me to put some wire netting to protect the radiator grilles from getting stones stuck etc. Any pros and cons?

Wow, your nick is pretty cute. You deserve really good customer service, esp from TC.

I am not an aircon expert or anything, so I can speculate that your diagnosis of refrigerant shortfall could be a possibility.

I had a possibly similar issue with my car and I went to TC Bukit Timah. Test driven with the workshop manager and he told me to leave the car there for 3~4 hours. When I went to collect my car, the service chit indicated that my aircon pipe was re-positioned. But no mentioning of refrigerant top up.

My advice is that you go to the TC service centre to test and fix your issues.

Yes, the radio reception is not good. Can TC do anything about it?

Haven't tried the Aux yet.. will go check it out. I just collected my car last week so the s/w should be new?

Thanks!

If you visit construction or industrial sites often, that would be a good idea.

However if you often travel around town or commercial places, the use of wire nettings is less compelling.

My personal preference is to keep my car's original state as far as possible.

My only fix so far is to change my "girly" car horns to something much louder.     [idea]

There are chances of stone on the road hitting the radiator fin. I have put some netting on it to protect it.

For the design i selected, the only cons is it is a leave catcher and collector ....

Original brake pad is very dusty. My rim now is gun metal color (only the front rim....)

You can either change the brake pad to less dusty brake pad, or spray/change the rim to darker color to make the dust less obvious.

Didn't know that the radiator is so obvious, thanks the bro who suggest to have the grill installed.

Had it done at E-rev and felt safe when there are big lorries ferrying stones and granite especially along woodlands.

Nope. Mine is at default loop length. Check your card. Maybe damaged or too slow speed (if you changed card).

Thanks for the reply.

The camera is under warranty so i'll get TC to check it out. I also suspected malfunctioning SD card but just could not get the card out.

Noted some 2.0 owners had some issues. So I'll just list out my issues after 2 months driving it.

1. Wife complained about some rattling from glove compartment but I can't really hear it. More obvious if you sit there or when it goes over wobbly roads.

2. Condensation in headlights - No issue.

3. Jittery steering - Don't understand what is jittery steering. My steering works fine. Originally used Sports mode steering but find it too heavy for daily drive. Switched back to Normal and got used to it.

4. Tyre feel - harder drive than previous car but think it's more due to rim size. Originally was bumpy ride but after I deflated the tyres to specs, ok already.

5. No HU issues or radio reception issues - never try aux or the more advanced options. I only use radio for normal driving. BT works fine but I never use it.

6. Papago issues - Records intermittently. Will have TC check it out. Suspect card issue.

Overall, big OK from me.

Hi Lee9389ck,

Hi Hlim

Bro, I changed into my new Michelin after "using up" my Conti stock tyres (approx. 50,000km) so there was no issue of trading in stock tyres.  My "twin" Marcos Tan is the one with the better lobang for Michelin Primacy 3-ST tyres and the tyre shop he's recommending also don't take trade-in of stock Conti tyres...sorry bro.

For your second question, answer is "no", i.e. no need to change rims when switching to Michelin Primacy 3-ST.

Cheers

ck.
