Understood the differences,but what i don't understand is that in world football, England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland are recognized as different countries. Why don't FIFA recognised them as just UK? And I think the chances of UK winning the world cup is definitely higher than England winning the world cup

This is great news for the city of Liverpool.

 

Before UK joined the EEC in the 70's

 

Liverpool was a very successful port as England traded with the whole world.

 

After joining the EEC Liverpool port declined as it was a port in the West

 

and all trade went through the ports in the East of England.

 

So now that UK are out, Liverpool will see a revival in business

 

and that can only be good for LFC.
