Tanjm348 Neutral Newbie September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 (edited) You could try broquet. it works but expensive....mine was free gift from my brother, so had it at no cost. voltage stablizing does help I bought a 2nd hand unit at $65. Install it to help lenghten batt life, but discovered it gives abt a 50km more per tank fill up I still think the only way to save is not to own a car. Technically you don't own it the finance company owns it....that's why is call a "Hire Purchase" contract Edited September 17, 2005 by Tanjm348
Sliderzhil Clutched September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 Yeah i know what u mean but engine mod does sound like tweaking the engine to squeeze performance. Maybe u'd ask if there's any aftmarket products to enhance fuel saving... Peace up bro
Ahhuat 1st Gear September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 from what i know.. there are no such 'proven' gadgets... if u are concerned about FC or fuel costs.. there are other alternatives which the rest have mentioned already
Gilahonda Clutched September 17, 2005 Author Share September 17, 2005 wow 2 bros here actually recommend voltage stabilizers.....will try it and see whether my FC will improve.thnks
Tploh Clutched September 17, 2005 Share September 17, 2005 I just did, but not on the engine. I downsize my rims from 17" to 16" and tyres from 215 to 205.
Genie47 1st Gear September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Must use correct egg. You tie quail's egg, confirm FC high. Tie ostrich egg, car will never leave your carpark. Must use chicken egg because just the right size and cheaper also.
Gilahonda Clutched September 18, 2005 Author Share September 18, 2005 mite as well use human egg since u like eggs so much
Genie47 1st Gear September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Human eggs no calcified shell to provide resistance. I teach kids how to chop up chicken embryos, deform fish eggs/embryos and force female frogs to lay eggs.
Thug Clutched September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 To me, mods to save fuel r good but that is when they actually work. To me, changing the way you drive. Go on constantly aceleration for auto. DUN ram ur ride for no reason. For manual, change gear at 2.5k rpm. My ride average milage was 11.2km/l. When I was running in the engine after its overhual, was 13km/l. Changing gear @ 2.5k works for me. U?
Thug Clutched September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Many believed that switching off the air-con helps to save fuel. Wrong, if u r 70% expressway user or 80% travalling at 80km/h driver no matter where u r. Its will save fuel if only u off air-con at the same time close ur window. But that will result in roasted chicken/pig...or duck. Anyway, the reason is the wind resistant ur opened window will create.
Tann Clutched September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 (edited) Most people think by increasing/enhance the power will save fuel. In actual fact you can have both and its less expensive to do so. And furthermore if you change car it can be tranfer. Wolverine Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Think this no need mumbo jumbo theoretical analysis.... just check your FC for both A/C on vs A/C off lah... i did and A/C off - better FC ....
Wolverine Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 wow 2 bros here actually recommend voltage stabilizers.....will try it and see whether my FC will improve.thnks Try the Fart stabilizer too...when you fart with the EZFart it will regulate the vibration & resonance generated from fart. j/k
Wolverine Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Wow....The Efart is really something...using Einstein's Theory of general relativity the EFart will regulate the flow of the fart making it NOISELSS ...and increase the performance of fart exitation using complex quantum physics.... Yet another joke from WOLVERINE hahahah ↡ Advertisement
