Wonder how many of you here are using this air filter..

http://www.greenfilterusa.com

I am on it, and can feel the diff. Car more responsive, and the mid-range is revvier...wink.gif

Will monitor for FC...

Good thing is it is lifetime...cf paper filters that need to be changed every 10000km. Similar to KNN but better performance.

Those on it, pls share with the others how it performssmile.gif

I noe Lucien would be getting his soon

Neutral Newbie

do u need to grease it like the K&N filter after wash?

Green filter is just like K&N. You need to wash it and oil it. The thing is for Green filter, you need to clean and oil more often as recommended by the instruction guide, every 6000km to 10000km I think. That is Green filter UK recommendation. Green filter US recommendation is 10000 miles. Don't know why the difference.

Have been using for more than 10000km and haven't clean yet. Think it's time to clean. For me, can't feel any effect, maybe butt dyno not as effective as you guys.

thanks for the feedback. I thought like K&N, its suppose to let the engine breath better with better air flow than stock filter, but ability to trap dust with the oil layer (not sure if it will be better than stock filter)

Aftermarket oiled filters allow better air flow between maintenance interval. Paper filters get clotted up very fast thus before your next servicing, the paper filter already all clotted up.

Tempted to change from stock filter, but a bit concern cos read some reports that certain aftermarket filters dun filter as much which is partly why better airflow.. is it true?

Guess i'll be looking into this again when my current filter is due for replacement.. [;)]

For KNN we pay such a high price just for the brand n exact size. Green performs better den KNN IMHO.

It is correct. If you like clean engines, then the stock should be good. If you like performance, the cotton filters are good. You can't have both.
