Which product for easy maintenance?

hi all.

 

looking at alternatives to a PPS here.

 

are there any waxes or products out there that are easy to apply after a wash?

 

looking at some waxes that are like 'easy-on-easy-off'. just apply after a car wash...and clean off kind. i don't have strong muscles or machine..so those that require buffing are out. intend to do this fortnightly if i have time.

do a search and u'll find some easyon easy off products....I'm using klasse with meguiars spray detailer....

but got this guy once demo autoglym on my car...i was also very impressed.

 

auto glym has more competitive pricing...

I have used Meguiar's NXT over Glare and also OCW The result is 101% much more fantastic Bo problem one, my Bro Don't worry

Meguiar's NXT paste wax is much more tedious while OCW is as easy as 123 Both are equally to me

I use Eagleone Wax-as-u-dry or Polyglaze Wax real quick after every wash. Both work the same way. I spray the wax onto the wet car and dry with my fibershine drying towel. Gives me a fresh coat of wax every week! You can get the Eagleone at Autoacc in Paya lebar road where the old autobacs was. Polyglaze can be found in carrefour and autobacs.

No doubt OCW, forget bout Klasse SG, it's definitely not user friendly , you need elite waxing skillzzz..

 

Steps for OCWing:

1.Get a really plush microfiber towel (THIS IS A MUST)

2.Spray sparingly

3.Wipe with mf

4.Done in 5 mins

5.Get a cup of coffee or soda and enjoy admiring at your shiny and wet looking car

 

OCW will last you a good month (at least)

I'm only Klasse, but if u afraid to hv problem with Klasse then u can get

Jeffs Werkstatt Products from my Polish King Bro Gen2.

 

Jeffs is more user friendly than Klasse.

 

Only the first application is a bit tough, but no matter what product u use, the first

application is always tough. Because we need to give the best foundation to let the

paint work well prepare for waxing.

 

1> wash

2> clay

3> Jeffs Prime (for polish)

4> Acrylic Jett (Sealant)

 

My recommend is layer Acrylic Jett weekly for at least 3 layers. Then your ride is

super shiny & under a very well protection. (Layering of AJ is only take you less

then 10-15 minutes, just spray on then wipe off. Must do it after wash).

 

After this you just wash your ride wheneven you need (best is weekly). Apply

Acrylic Jett or Acrylic Gloss (quick detailer) to maintance the shine.

 

Call Bro Gen2, he should give u a better way to use Jeffs' Products.

 

OCW is a great product but seems nobody tell u, the important of FOUNDATION.

 

If u do have a good foundation then u can just go for OCW. OCW itself contain no or very

less cleaning agent, so if now your ride is not in good shape. Then no matter

how good is the OCW, it still can't delivery a good result to u.

 

WELL PREPARATION is the key to successful in car detailing.

Hi Bro Triston77, as bro Marcostan has mentioned, setting a good 'foundation' is important and it really helps in your future maintainance.

 

Jeffs Werkstatt products are all hand application friendly and easy to use, the latest addition Acrylic Jett Trigger is even easier to use as compare to Acrylic Jett (which is already easy to use in the first place). If ease of use is you first consideration, than you can never go wrong with Acrylic Jett Trigger .

Bro,

 

Don't delay anymore, since ur ride is only 1 week old.

 

Go for OCW it suppose can go with any product.

U also need to get a claybar at the same time.

Once u get both OCW & Claybar, u can start to DIY your ride.

 

1. Wash

2. Dry

3. Use OCW as clay lub to clay whole car.

 

Actually, few ppl know we can use OCW as clay lub to clay.

I love to use this method, it consider as 1 stone 2 birds lazy method.

Although u may use a bit more of OCW but still worth to try it.

 

OCW so far is the only spray sealant wax that is slick enough to act as clay

lub. So, just imagine u use OCW to clay after that no need to apply

anyone layer of wax. (OCW itself is already a sealant wax). One step

but u can achieve 2 result, clear paint work + sealant wax.

 

After these, u just need to wash & apply OCW weekly.

Might worth a try. Dealers polishing and waxing tend not to last, maybe the OCW/calybar as recommended by bro marcos will be the key to easy future upkeep of shine on your ride.

 

As for me, using AIO/SG and now with AG from Bro Gen2 as quick detailer.
