I need to do 4 wheels I think. I find that my rear wheels are v shape, which my dad says are better. But my front are quite parellel. I wish to make them A shape too. How to make them A shape?

One of my fren say need to add or change chamber or camber, whats that?

Or is it spacer that I need to add? I dont have them on my wheels.

My offset is 42 or 45 I think for my car, but the OZ rims box state 37, I think I used wrong size already. Whats the side effect for using too little offset? Whats the offset for? Anyway to correct it?

My pic of wheel is at other thread.

Balancing for front two wheels. Depends on your ride also if your ride is 4wd will need to balance all four. usually small car only balance front two wheels. What you wan to do is called rotation, back wheels will need to do balancing when putting on the front.

You can call up my friend at Kaki Bukit for 4 wheel alignment. It doesn't cost $80 for all 4 wheels. Give Vincent a call. His number and address are listed in my signature.

I call up a workshop I think somewhere in Ubi, quoted me $15 for the rotation and balancing.

I heard that in Malaysia they balance at higher speed ie. more than 100km/h.

Normally I will balance all 4 tyres & rotate every 10K km & do the computerised 4 wheel alignment every 20K km.

Most pple balance only the front 2 tyres but if the rear tyres vibrate too much, although u wont feel it, it will cause the rear shocks to wear out faster.

Some cars u cannot adjust the alignment on the rear wheels, so check b4 u get it done.

But it's still good to do the rear wheels cos then u will know if something is not right.

Most places in SG charge $5/tyre for off-wheel balancing & $50 to $60 for the computerised 4 wheel alignment.

Hope this helps.

Dont worry if your wheels are the "V" or "A" type. Just get the shop to do the 4 wheel computerised alignment back to factory specs sud b best.

If u try to alter the factory specs, it might affect your cars handling for the worse or cause premature tyre wear.

Pple only fit a camber kit if they have changed their shocks to sports type or altered the height of the car which causes the original camber to b so far from factory specs, it cannot b adjusted back.
