Bro, I got my M3SP today.

Immd, I changed to 17".

Now monitor the FC.

 

SGQ 3k-5k??

 

I just got mine yesterday morning also. Saw 25 Mazdas car plate SGQ 3xxx- 5xxx.

 

Mine is SGQ4xxx.. Red

 

I also got mine in the morning too, around 11am.

 

I was transferring the stuffs from Sunny to Mazda, the blue

 

My plate is SGQ4082 [sunny]

 

mine SGQ4114.. I left by that time..was there at 9.30am.. [:)]

hello, new here. Anyway my family just booked a mz3 normal sedan. B4 booking e car, i was doing a small little research on a few different cars. Alot of pple slammed mazda3 for its lousy FC and slow pick up.

 

In the end, still booked the car coz we thought it looks good and feels good. Price wise also more competitive liao. FC wise, i really dont understand why everyone slams its FC. Everyone says the FC not good, but looking at the fuel consumption page of this forum, the FC of MZ3(11-12) is comparative to Altis(11-12). Erm, unless the fuel consumption page of this forum is not trustworthy? Or is it because most pple hear from other people and in the end just made the conclusion that mazda3 fc is not good w/o even driving 1 themselves?

 

 

Anyway, during the test drive, i feel that its really quiet,maybe i low standard.haha. i off the radio and ask everyone to shuddup[:)] [:)]. Ive never tried non-sp b4, so dont know how bad it was then. But i got to say mazda3 SP soundproofing should be enough liao. Dont compare with conti cars....

don't bother too much about the FC i think anything beyond 11 km/l is good enough [nod]

important thing is that u like the car, i love to drive it and u fall in love deeper everytime u look at her [inlove]

 

heard SP is more quiet than non-SP though i didn't try non-SP before. i think the sound level is acceptable but many ppl expect lexus-like quietness so let them go and buy lexus lor [laugh]

Well, FC of 11-12 really depends on how you drive your car. I am averaging on 9-10 4 mths down the road. Which, actually is still not too bad considering that I ferry a full load of 5 people quite often, and I load all sorts of stuff into my boot. Still, I couldn't love this car more, the more I drive it the more I like it. I've kind of learnt to adopt an attitude of heck caring the fuel meter and just enjoying the ride, after all, there's only so much you can do to your FC. Enjoy the interior, the comfort, the beauty of this car. I would say this is as close as you can get to a conti saloon from the Japanese stable without paying a hefty premium for Lexus or the Accords.

 

Just a few updated pics on my SP. 4 mths in the making.. and still loving it everyday :)

oh yeah, fell in love with mazda3 from start. Simply love the interior. Very solid feeling. Got to wait till after CNY then can collect though.

yeah man. Competitive price, nice interior exterior, decent performance why not? Haha true red as well. I like the non sp blue. but no more liao. Buy frm MM loh. Near my place mah. Hah
