This page is where all the modification that I have done so far to my car....I booked my Mazda 3 on 21st Nov 2004 and it finally arrived on the 3rd Jan 2005. It is a Velocity red basic sedan as it can be delivered before Chinese New Year! I have already spend about $10,000/= on accessories on the car!

 

Most of my modification is on cosmetic but some are on power, I will mod the engine when the mileage reach maturity

I'm currently looking at the range of 50 - 60k car, Mazda 3 is one of the car in my list. But the car model is getting older now, never drive a mazda before, any problem on the engine?

engine is not that powerful, and FC is not that wonderful. but i would say the engine is quite reliable

Bro, I just changed my car from Sunny to Mazda. At the range of 50k to 60k, you have quite a number of choices, Latio, Lancer, Altis, Swift, and even Renault, all below 60k.

 

Personally, only "werido" will choose Renault, and businessman will not choose Swift.

 

So I was left with Altis, Lancer / Latio and Mazda.

 

Altis is too common, like a taxi. Lancer is a bit out-dated. Latio, to me, is a lady car. So the choice is clear.

 

As far as the engine is concerned, the test car was quiet and smooth. All of the cars above, only M3 and steptronic.

Of course, there are some cons on M3. For instance, FC is not that friendly.

 

Spacious or not, quite subjective. I think is quite similar to my ex Sunny !!

 

By the way, I am collecting my M3SP tomorrow

Interior wise, Mazda 3 is not the worst.

 

IMHO, I think Gen 2 has the worst interior space.

 

FC wise, Mazda 3 can be top 3.

 

Look wise, Mazda 3 top 1

What's the point of having looks when the vehicle cannot perform...looks sporty but performance sucks as car has no responsive power. Let's not compare who's interior space is worse. If cabin space is pathetic, it means pathetic..dun have to say Gen 2 is worse to comfort oneself. Cheers....

Well if you dun like Altis, just say you dun like it. So wat if it is use as taxi, y if use like taxi u scared ppl mistook you as one? I bet you will say you wont buy Merc or buy Skoda, then maybe you can rephrase bcos you have no $ to buy Merc even if it is not use as a taxi model. Latio a lady car? Did a Latio make love to you in your dreams? Of cos the choice is clear, it is clear you could have made a wrong choice.
