Laojiao 2nd Gear December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Not sure whether you all will know the cause but after installing the muffler, i hear some rattling noises under my carriage (and ya ... i've checked there are no rattle snakes there too ) The rattle would only be apparent when i'm idling while still pressing my brakes but it'll be gone if i'm cruising or moving on the road. Anyone can help? ↡ Advertisement

Tommisan 4th Gear December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Hi, Your muffler is probably touching your bumper or bodykit, need to go back to installer to rectify the problem. Cheers, Tommy
Mroonws Clutched December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 Should be installation problem...It might be hitting on something... During idling, exhaust is usually vibrating....Maybe the vibration wakes up the rattle snake that is sleeping there...
Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 auto car i assume or maybe an older car??? Georgecheng Neutral Newbie December 13, 2006 Share December 13, 2006 Try to use hand to check for clearance when car is not on jack, esp when your ride is lower before. When jack up, installer may forget ride is lowered before and install in the mid range and might be rubbing your rear axle or the rear edge.
