Feedback on Subaru Legency or Subaru Cars

Appreciate if you could feedback on the maintenace, fuel consumption, etc about this brand car.

its a very good and reliable car! very good handling...I own one.. maintainance might be a bit on the high side..but its fun to drive a AWD

the impreza seems a bit underpowered. making only about 95+ HP only.

ya...underpowered, but impreza boxer is very MOB-able..

imho, every car make have their own fair share of problems.. depends on how you view/deal with it.

 

some makes are known to have reliability issues, and even 'drink' engine oil, yet there are die-hard fans around who swear by it.

I only drive the NA version Legacy.

 

Noise - Very quiet

Refinement - Very good

Ride - OK, no complaints but there are better riders out there.

Handling - Beautiful

Space - Amongst the smallest interiors in the 2L class. If you want space, don't get this.

Sound system - fantastic.

Performance - So so from the 2.0i. 2.0R will be much better. GT is of course very good.

 

 

FC - Drive it hard and it drinks. Take it gently and it sips.

Drinks about 20% more than a Corolla 1.6A.

Not bad considering FWD.

 

The GT version will be more thirsty and perform much better.

 

So far, 16 months, no problems whatsoever.

NA version is the 138bhp? Think I had tried the 165bhp version. There might be the 2.0R non turbo version.

 

How about the maintenance? generally what kinda of amount? I didnt believe the salesgirl saying that its cost less than a hundred dollar only. Think she is talking cxxk.
