VTEC = Increase hi end hp via increasing opening time of intake & exhaust valve.

 

VVT-i = Can be use for increasing hp/torque/fuel efficiency via varying timing intake/exhaust valve. If include both intake & exhaust valve, for toyota, it's call Dual VVT-i. The 'i' mean timing is automatically adjusted according to drive load.

 

VVTL-i = VTEC + dual VVT-i

 

I-vtec may not = VVTL-i. Based on my database, VVT-i only operates on intake valve.

no the nice stock screen wif reverse camera usually doesn't come with it. You have to top up abt 2k more. However some PIs come with it though.

the HU you mentioned is the intergral HU which have CD /Radio / Reverse camera function but in jap.... top up 2k for this option.... waste money if you ask me... the reverse camera only cost you $1++ to $2++ range, just lup any china / korea made DVD 2 Din player with Reverse camera function will do. Anyway i have the aftermarkat DVD + Reverse Camera + Reverse Sensor as Freebie for my Axio.

the engine is a bit noisy when you try to ramp. it is ok when you are cruising. overall I find the car is a bit over prices.

 

 

 

may I know how's the Axio doing so far in terms of ride comfort / CVT transmission / engine performance etc? went to servaral PI and none of them allow test drive the car, hope Axio owners can share some info.

 

by the way, the OMV for Axio is 14k right?

i saw the cost of Axio and its in the range of S$4+k, after you add in the COE / Duties / Taxes, the profit margin for this car is not that high...

u lup all those stuff in, the clarity is not there, it's not as bright as some other bros mention.

 

Don't forget tht the awkward protrusion of the aftermkt HUs. Spoils the interior imo.

 

Anyway, it's worth it if you got money to spare or else, without a doubt the aftemkt HUs will save u a real lot :)

You mean the actual cost from the PI? Assuming its 45 and now the price of an axio abt 62, they make abt 17k gross.

 

The omv is 14k. You add in the ARF which is 1.1 * OMV + the COE is abt 45K net. Not making much? FOr the kind of service they provide and their untrained staff?

 

Maybe u can enlighten me if i had calculated wrongly anywhere?
