Hi all,

Im considering getting an Axio but 1st time getting a PI car. Jus having some concerns:

1) after the warranty period from PI, wld it be difficult/expensive to repair the car shld there be something wrong with it?

2) heard that parts for PI cars are expensive, is it true?

3) are there many workshop choices where I k bring Axio to for repair or there are only selected few (in case kana ketok by these few...)

Wld greatly appreciate if u k share ur tots. Tks in advance ya [:)]

Viewed my car today and can collect next wed. [drivingcar] SE also topup full tank for me already. [thumbsup]

I do 665Km for my first tank. FC is about 17 KM/L [thumbsup]

According to the brochure .... it's 18.2km/litre ... so I guess 17km/litre is not bad .... how many litres do you top up when you pump at the station?

My Corolla G9 get about 550km for 41.69 litres of petrol .... lose your 665km far far .... [bigcry][bigcry]

interior space i muz say bigger than vios but lose to altis..

pickup speed also nt great

basicslly workshop that service corolla / vios will know hw to deal with axio becos the design is the same ba...

PI car are expensive sometime due to the fact, local agent dun bring in the model.

Also one very true example is Camry

BM bring in Camry of Thai while PI bring in Camry of Japan.. Look more sporty than BM

Guess not many are aware that Axio 1.5 is from Thailand while the 1.8 is from Japan, do check it out if you don't believe me and anyway, BM has lost the right to import Toyota's Japan made cars so their cars are mostly from Thailand.

From my workshop who service mainly Toyota cars, he has many links with many PI and he get this news from the PI. If you notice those cars from Japan will have some japanese stickers sticked onto the rear windscreen of the cars like those in Honda Airwave and Toyota Wish.

I understand those stickers should be related to QC Check from Toyota, Japan if not wrong and not sure whether Axio have the stickers too?

Please get your facts right.

Axio is imported from Japan. Be it 1.5L or 1.8L.

It is never made in Thailand.

The Green & Blue Oval Sticker (Pollution rating)

pasted behind every Japan Car is a regulation if the

vehicle is used in Japan.

But singapore do not apply this.

As such, Some PI tore this sticker away while

others leave it as it is.

I have my facts right and up to you to believe anyway but one thing never change, the engine is still as rough as those thailand models like Vios, Altis or Camry cos their engine parts like Cylinders, Pistons or Valves are all made in China and assembled in Japan, this is the fact.

Such a coincidence that every Toyota Wish I see all have these 2 stickers including the Honda Airwave, only all the Axio do not have these 2 stickers.

First time I heard Axio made in Thailand. Cant believe unless there is proof.

When I collect my Altis, there are some safety labels in the car in Thai language. So it is clearly a made in Thai car. Only the Axio owner will know if there are trace of it being made in Thai or Japan.

As to engine parts made in China and assemble in Japan, it has nothing to do with whether Axio is made in Japan or Thailand.
