HDB MSCP free parking timing

For HDB MSCP parking, what is the timeline I can park for free without putting car park coupons?

 

Can I park for free in the MSCP from Sat 1030pm till Sun 1030pm?

Free Sunday parking does not cover after 1030pm.

PLease take note, for carpark with Night Parking, even Holiday or Sunday also have to put... No horse run.. my 2 friends kana during CNY....

i got fined before at 10pm, even though it's sunday and PH follows the next day.

If it's 10pm or earlier, you should appeal coz free parking ends at 10.30pm.

In addition:

 

From 10.30pm onwards, you can start to put the $2 night parking coupon if you intend to park overnight. For short term parking between 10.30pm till 1am, you can still use the normal 50 cents /$1 coupon.

Cannot. Also check first(this i not too sure) some places you kena at night is $50 not $30...Think is some season parking area or what....

so the period between a sunday & a PH is not considered free - from 10.30pm of Sun to 7am of Mon (a PH), so must put night parking coupons???

Please note that not all CP are free parking on Sunday and PH. It is requested that you should take note at the notice board upon entering the CP of its oprational hours and rates.

For the nite parking coupon, can i use 4 pieces of 50cents 1/2 hr parking coupon instead?

 

Based on what you guys mention here. seems like free parking at most wil only apply on Sun and PH 7am to 1030pm.

 

So if i park from Sat 1030pm to 1130pm, i will still need to put 2 pieces of 50cents 1/2 hr parking coupon OR do i need to put the Night coupon of $2 for that 1 hr park?

u can use 4 coupon all tearing the same starting time

Yes, if the carpark lots are labelled for the seasoned parking coupon holder, then whoever parked there will kena $50 straight even though u have displayed a normal parking coupon in your car.

"For short-term parking, motorists have to display parking coupons for coupon parking car parks or use cashcard to pay for the parking charges at automated car parks.

 

Coupon Parking Hours

 

The coupon parking hours are indicated on the signboard located at the entrance of each car park. The hours are generally from 7.00am to 10.30pm, and 24 hours if the car park has night parking facilities.

 

Where they have to be adjusted to meet the particular needs of specific car parks, the revised coupon parking hours are indicated on the signboard. In general, the parking charges in HDB car parks are 50 cents per half hour for car parks outside the restricted zone and $1 per half hour for car parks within the restricted zone before 5pm (parking lots in restricted zone are painted yellow for easy identification).

 

Night Parking Scheme

 

Car parks that allow night parking by visitors are identified by signboards bearing the parking times and charges. For easy identification, the signboards are lighted up after 7pm.

 

For night parking charges at night parking car parks, motorists who park between 10.30pm and 7.00am can pay the half hourly rate of $0.50 up to a maximum of $2 or a flat rate of $2.00 depending on their parking needs.

 

Sunday/Public Holiday Free Parking

 

The free parking scheme is from 7am to 10.30pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. Motorists who need to park after 10.30pm need to display parking coupons accordingly, provided the car park has night parking scheme. A signboard will be located at the entrance of the car park to inform motorists if the car park is implemented with the Free Parking Scheme.

 

This service package gives an overview of short term parking. It provides essential information that motorists need to know about coupon parking and automated parking.
