Thanks for the headsup. The PhD in gas filling there told me the door stopped the compressor from running and they are going through a bypass now. SPC Boss says must keep it running. cool.gif

Got to solve the link to the cashier as well. It will not commence the next fillup unless the buyer pays up first. Weird!

Apologise for the mistake there bro....thanks for the info, because there are some comments on the FC being different and if you car is already like a camels that drink very little petrol, it might not be advisable to change to CNG.

And also, due to a drop of about 10& performance, some commented that there's an increase in about equivalent amount of FC...but as what you have said, who cares about it when now it's the price of the fuel that is more important.

Anyway, it is $1.28 for CNG nowadays?

That price is Mandai. Jln Buroh is having a trial discount at $0.900 for a limited period only. I try to get to Jln Buroh if I'm on my way and have reached red.

We will never go back to square one. With more installers, they will have competition. Then they will fight with better service (with same price) or lower price. Have you heard anything that competition bring up price?????

I just visited Mandai..and i managed to pump 10.22 kg of gas. With Gillbert's explaination earlier, Mandai compressor should be better than Jln Buroh. I will visit Jln Buroh again to see whether they have improve..

FYI, the review is me. sly.gif

FC is still the same after I converted the kg of CNG to gasoline equivalent litres.

Cost saving is not the FC of the car. It is the cheaper fuel. Right now, I travel everywhere, anywhere w/o fear watching out for the distance. I just go knowing that it costs me less $/km. That is the real deal. Who the fark cares about FC when you got cheaper fuel. laugh.gif It is FUEL ECONOMY, FE rather than FC.

Haha...bro..you forgot to highlight another important reason why we should use CNG... because it is GREENER than petrol.. right? Even the CNG sticker is green right? [laugh][;)]

CNG is not much greener. That is marketing BS. Yes, it is true that you are still burning a fossil fuel. You still produce CO2. However it is only CO2 instead of SO2, NOx and particulates.

Most importantly, it is cheaper. For now.

Yes if you richen up the air fuel ratio you still get black smoke from your tail pipe. He is right.

Anyway it does reduced some emmission in a way. Not total clean like Hydrogen powered cars.

All they have to do is to allow us to go to malaysia and install will bring down the price.

Isn't that price like last year Ron 92 pricing?? Thought it is ard $0.90 which is more FE when converting to CNG.

So if compare a hybrid and a CNG, which one will be more FE in the end with taking consideration on petrol and price of the car??

Payment (POS) system link up can be a bit complicated. Anyway, it's currently running on a very very simple mode. By mid of next week it'll be running like any other payment system.

That is what I worried, install after buying car cost $3.5k, maybe I have not recoup my cost the price went up liao.

Another concern is those who intend to get 40% ARF rebate, once they installed, they die die must have the CNG kit inside for the full 10 years, if CNG pirce also increase, they are really waste their space for nothing.

Normally, when you guys compare how much you fill etc. it should be based on the following two values:

- How much pressure filled? (Look at your manometer in the engine bay)

- How many kg did you fill up

On another note: Our lovely taxi drivers often compare S$ and that does not make sense, considering S$1.28 and S$0.96 is about a 25% price difference. So your 10.22kg would have been S$13.08 at Mandai, but only S$10.01 at Jln Buroh. (All prices incl. GST).
