I believe she folded the dates instead of tearing it off. The offense is of course heavier. Thats call CHEATING!!!!!

Same like parking coupon fines. Its different if u dont put any coupon as compare to getting caught folding the coupon.

Simlarly to getting caught at Spore customs with half tank and with "gadget-fitted" fuel level controller. Both made the same offense going in with under 3/4 tank. The former might get maximum $500 fine only. But the latter offense constitutes a fine + compound car + jail term.

There is a difference bro.....

At the end of the day.....big risk yield big gains....small risk yield small gain. Up to the car owner to weigh the risks and pay the price if necessary. Its a free world after all.

not sure, but I guess there is prob more leeway if catch at 655pm, compared to catch at 705am when it is illegal for the next 12 hours~

Wads the diff between 655pm and 705am?

I dun c any diff.

U'll nv noe wad will happen on the road. Accident, congestion, vehicle breakdown etc...

coz at 655pm, 5mins later is the legal period liao...

while at 705am, for the next 11hrs and 55mins, it is illegal

how strict is the TP in enforcing the 7pm rule?

if someone comes out at 7pm according to their watch but TP watch shows 6.55pm, will they get fined? i'm not debating huge difference like 15 minutes or 30minutes but small like 5mins. besides, who officially keeps track of time in singapore?

sorry, don't flame me...sometimes dunno the answer and dunno where else to ask. :(

if someone comes out at 7pm according to their watch but TP watch shows 6.55pm, will they get fined? -> yes... cause TP got the final say

i'm not debating huge difference like 15 minutes or 30minutes but small like 5mins. besides, who officially keeps track of time in singapore? -> nobody. all follow GMT time

sorry, don't flame me...sometimes dunno the answer and dunno where else to ask -> no problem, u can also call TP and ask [:p]

Yes, I m the one who ask LTA!!!

The reply from LTA is:

Drive inside PUBLIC carpark in restricted hour is offend! Means your car are not allowed to move.

Unless you stay in private house, condo carpark then ok.

Don't play play!

I didn't know that leh

Sometime I shift the car down to lower floor, will stop doing that

Hmm..wash car aslo cannot ar? like tat can only wash on sat after 3pm n on sun morning nia liao? really wtf leh. I seriously dun deem driving down to the washing bay to wash the car is an act of cheating.(so long as the owner dun drive the car out of the car park)

Supercharged

It is the same as drunk driving. When you are drunk

and sat inside the car, as long as the car engine

is not running, you are not committing any offence.

But if the car engine is running while you are taking

rest inside the car while drunk, you can be arrested

for drunk driving even though the car is not moving.

So if one wanted to shift the OPC car to the washing

bay, don't drive. Push the car down and you won't be charge.

Kinda of ridiculous n Lame loh..

I can understand the fact tat with the rebate an OPC user get n tat they cant drive during the restricted hrs whereas normal plates owner get to drive anytime cos they r actually paying more $$..but to limit them (OPC) to the extent tat they cant even wash thier car anytime is really wtf. Afterall, driving down to the lower level washing bay doesnt cause any road congestion issues....

Weekdays at night after work oredi "stone" liao, usually i leave my washing "biz" on the weekends..

maybe I "moved" the washing bay up to the upper level instead loh since the car cant be moved (ie. wash car at the normal parking lot)... [hur]
