Well, i am still trying to figure out.

My cases

2x while not moving. 1 in car open area, the other standing outside my office. Both these times was ard 30 sec or less.

1x held the phone out of my home window. took 3-5mins to lock on.

few times in motion, took various time 1 min or more. Once it didn't lock on ard 5 mins. I stop the navigation and start again. immediately lock on thereafter. maybe some bug.

wifi good to have mah... can use when [gorgeous] is shopping

am considering 6110 or a PDA with integrated Gps function eg Dopod 810, HP, or glofiish

Dopod 810 is nice but the price ..... [thumbsdown]

More on the 6110 Navi .

Copying content

More voices/colors for GPS Route66

Install the Route66 software and transfer the voices required.

There are numerous voices including

American voices M/F

Cantonese M/F

and major european languages

Ditto for Maps Colors.

Copying Themes.

Locate this folder in your card

"Private10207114import"

U nid to show hidden files in explorer

each sub folder in here contains 1 theme.

Each theme should contain .mbm, .mif & .skn files

The default Nokia themes are in the phone though.

Neutral Newbie

I have tried my friend's PDA running MAPKing, it seems that MAPKing has more details in the map, like block no., parks etc, almost every single sq inch of Singapore is digitised. But for Nokia 6110, condo name like Mandarin Garden when search show no results, many maps details are not incorporated and I understand that the SG map in 6110 is dated 2nd Quarter 2006. Wonder is there anyway to have the latest map as advanced as the MAPKing ones. The MapKing actually has a "please slow down" as one is over the speed-limit voice feature that is not available in the 6110.
