Very disappointed with VW Singapore services. Went to the showroom on Thursday. There were lots of sales people but all stayed behind the counters. In the showroom there were about 20 customers but only the caucasians were being served. Seems like VW's marketing in Singapore is to go for the caucasian not asians.

Jetta make me think of Taxi in china. only this is large and luxury

 

When I was a consultant for the JV between VW and First Automobile in China back in 96, they were manufacturing the Jetta for the local China Taxi market. I don't know whether they are still using it in China as Taxi now.

 

But is the current Jetta made in China as well?

 

yeah.. they are still usin it for such .. ever since worked in china .. never thot of vw here much ..

ya...since the day i went for the Jetta test drive, the stupid sales rep has yet to email me the workout figures is I want to trade in my car....sigh...first bad sign of bad customer service...
