Camera system at Multi storey carpark

Hi,

I noticed that my multi storey carpark at Buangkok Crescent have camera installed at first(entrance) and second(just above slope)storey. Those black coloured round type.

 

Any idea what is it for? I dont think its for vadalism since its installed at the entrance. More likely for tracing of vehicle entering the carpark.

So, my car park is also being monitored with cameras. Mine is in Bukit Panjang. Looks like this place is becoming like the UK where cameras can be found in every other corners.

i believe they will be trying out the new parking system like the erp type... tat means no more tearing of coupons, non displaying of coupons etc... scan when you enter and pay when you leave.

Doubt those round type survillance camera has good picture quality.

maybe is due to bike theft cases, especially the previous super bike thefts... so if gt any reports, they can crack it down faster...

survillance camera has never been good in image quality.. but under well lit situation, its works like a charm...
