Nutty 4th Gear August 27, 2007 Share August 27, 2007 When I resumed my NS after graduation, it happened to be AHM time. My battalion forced every abled bodied guys to run 21km. End up most of us just walk and jog during the AHM run. Got chiobus running, then we go tailgate her. No point risking our health as we know we are not in a nice shape to complete the race in < 2 hrs. ↡ Advertisement

Driven Neutral Newbie August 27, 2007 Share August 27, 2007 My heartfelt condolences to his family . Died too young . Promising career ahead. So many unaccomplished endeavours. Many died due to exhaustion of the heart. One should not over stress his heart. Especially those seldom exercise. Too risky if you stretch the limit. When our heart beat goes faster den usual and have difficulty in breathing den better slow now. Life is so fragile, anytime, anywhere and anyhow we can leave this world. So sad. Really feel sad for his parents .

Darth_mel 1st Gear August 27, 2007 Share August 27, 2007 AFTER speeding through a 21km half marathon in 90 minutes, Captain Ho Si Qiu, 25, flew past the finish line - and collapsed soon after. His heart had stopped. this is the 2nd death in such event..the 1st was a triathete.. What could be happening?? Maybe he should just run past the finishing line instead of flying past it.
