No need to come back another day, I am not obligated to give my business to the first SE.
Turbonetics 2nd Gear September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 i will just dress up comfortably, normally t-shirt and jeans. why bother dress up for the sake of buying a car? as if going for a D&D or wedding dinner.
Turbonetics 2nd Gear September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 i don't feel comfortable doing that. will make the SE and myself malu in my opinion. the most is i try to wlak around hoping the 1st SE is not following then take the chance to approach another SE. or go for a drink then come back again. Slowmo Clutched September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 (edited) sometimes they will refuse you because in the showroom, sometimes have unwritten policy on the practice of 'snatching' customers... you might be marlu because the 2nd SE will reject you. The 2nd SE may lose her job because of this too. Politics is everywhere. You just want a car... no need go so low to those people's level and drag people around ya? Slowmo Clutched September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 (edited) Actually it really depends on time, mood and maybe even the way you make eye contact with some SE. Go back on a different day wearing the same clothings and the attitude might be different. Yes the eye contact is true. I am quite decided to get my car, so I drove down my old car to the front ofthe showroom. Walked up the maindoor, passed the SE taking a smoke break. Look at the counter full of people, the first one that made eye contact with me got the deal. I remember I was wearing T shirt and jeans and sandals.. Ironically, it was the same SE that gave me cold treatment a yr back that I did not give him my business. Life is quite interesting at times. Scoots 3rd Gear September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 (edited) I can accept about the unwrtten policy thingy. I have enough contacts with housing agents and friends as SEs to accept this. However, I don't see it as going 'so low' to those people's level, neither am I dragging anyone around. I just don't see why I should waste my time in making a second trip to save the first SE some 'face' by doing so. He/she certainly didn't care about my feelings. If really at the end of the day, there's no SE who wants to deal, then too bad lor. I just have to take my business elsewhere. They apparently don't need me, I can also do without them, so wht force anything? Fair and square... Edited September 13, 2007 by Scoots
Sony 1st Gear September 13, 2007 Share September 13, 2007 It's all about feel at times... I don't see the reason why I got to give up a potential car which I might like and drive for a few years just because I didn't get that few minutes of attention. maybe some people are more sensitive and afraid people will look down on them. but then, isn't the very same person passing on judgement on others by saying some SE look people no up? I don't need someone to carry my balls just to further justify that I can afford certain cars ↡ Advertisement
