Sgkingkong Neutral Newbie November 16, 2007 Share November 16, 2007 Yesterday (15 Nov 2007), at about 7.45pm. Was travelling along CTE, on lane 1 (the fast lane) towards Punggol at about 90km/h. This stupid car in front of me jammed brake to a complete stop right before the new CTE gentry... all the cars behind had to jam brake. I managed to stop in time and am lucky that the SUV behind me did not hit me too. That stupid car stayed there, on lane 1 for about 1 minute before moving off. After moving off, I looked back at my rear mirror but did not see the cars behind me following... hope nothing major and nobody's hurt in the incident. I really can't believe there are such inconsiderate people on the road... who might have caused some major accident because of ERP!!! Would strongly suggest that they be banned from driving permanently. Strict? Definitely! But it's so much cheaper than a life, which is priceless Btw, male or female driver? Kb27 Supersonic November 17, 2007 Share November 17, 2007 You would notice that most of the road conditions spring surpises on you. Brings out the worst in drivers. Not all of us are attentive full-time while on the road and that's how accident occurs. Example, road works can occur at a bend with barely 50m of cones to warn drivers. If you are going at a fast speed and coming around the bend, wham..bang. ERP gantry can spring up anytime, anywhere, catching drivers by surprise. The timing to turn on and off is confusing enough that you would have to pay extra attention on every road you travel. Just in case, an ERP pop up bcoz you did not use the road for sometime. Otherwise, wham..bang again. But of coz, any accident is always due to drivers, nothing to do with LTA. They just create the opportunities, but you do the banging. Good luck. KNNBACCB these are the most fxxk type drivers that i will forever look down on and i will never hesitate to spit on their face if i am the driver behind cos if got money drive car , whats the amount to the gantry charge + $10 fine = $11 , but if u bang their backside they claim until ur premium shoot up and NCD being deducted which is money lost but imagine injury or even death because of one mothet fxxker wanting to save that $10 fine than they ought to get themselve or their family killed if the vehicle behind is a trailer or 10 ton lorry crushing them till no other family members / friends can reconise them . ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
