Redune Neutral Newbie December 11, 2007 Share December 11, 2007 traveling at bedok reservoir rd this evening, at quite high speed for that small road.. around 60-70km/h.. right after a bend, noticed this taxi very near me, stopping at those carpark entrance but part of the car was on the main road.. thinking that i cant stop in time, i swere abit into the right lane and managed to squeeze through but the side mirros of this 3 cars, including mine, was so close to each other.. now i'm here to confess my big mistake for driving so recklessly for the first time.. apologies to the black car at my right.. ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Got one time along orchard Rd area was traveling in middle lane this SBS bus just swerve out from the extreme left lane cause me to swerve partly to the extreme right lane too before I overtook and swerve back while sounding my horn. To my surprise, the bus driver who was in the wrong horn back . . . well, wat I did next was to went ahead found a safe place to stop wait for the bus to overtake and took down the number before writing to Forum (never got published) and SBS. Ender Hypersonic December 12, 2007 Share December 12, 2007 Taxi driver sticking out of the road.. see this quite often liao, esp when they are turning in from the the 'give way' lane. Technically they are giving way, but 1/4 of the front is already sticking out to the main road. Lass Neutral Newbie January 22, 2008 Share January 22, 2008 i think TP should seriously take action on speedster w modified cars...so many times i come across such ppl zipping and switching lanes and tailgating to push others out of e way. c'mon in a freaking crowded s'pore, how freaking fast can you go?!?!! this mornz, i gave way to one speedster Black WRX SFQ55*3 when he was coming up v fast behind me. later on he tried cutting into my lane on my side and it was relatively near. what i didn't understand was why can't he change lane properly when the front was all clear?!?! wtf looked into the car was one young arrogent driver!! i would normally give way whenever possible but this fker gave me no space even when i wanted to get out of his freaking path. must all these bully other road users and esp when am on a bike and yes fker nv even wave to say thks. think he owns e freaking grandfather's road! The driver is a bit yaya no doubt ... He might think you are hogging his way as well ... And anyway a lane is technically "sufficient" to place a car with a bike side by side. Like the way he squeezes you, a bike will usually squeezes us. Either a bike cut my lane and force me to the edge of the lane or the other way. Happens all the time in Tuas ... everyday life. It's very, very subjective topic ... I blame you, you point him/her, he/she shoot another person's back. The best way is defensive driving and for this case, slow down your bike and I think it's possible. It's always perple's ego from giving in the first place. Nevermind how that driver reacts. How big the ego can you have in comparsion to your life? Anyway you never know if he ended up wrapping the tree the next moment. So just protect yourself first. Qpik Supercharged January 25, 2008 Share January 25, 2008 i totally agree w u. spore lane r fat. actually, if drivers here r skillful, can squeeze 3 cars in 2 lane. i refer to car not suv or mpv or pee-kup or whatever extreme fat vehicles. come to tink abt it, 1 lane can actually squeeze 1 bike on right, car in middle then another 1 bike on the left.
