it is because you never bed in properly...do abt 10 runs from 80km/h and then hard brake to 40km/h....then let the rotors cools down...that should do it...

if done properly, then your rotor should be smooth and have a bluish tint....

Is there a diff between stopping for a 2-3 seconds vs say 30-40secs or more???

 

To be honest i've never encountered what you've described. I thought it was only when you started up in the morning when you had that problem. It could be improper bed-in, but the symptoms are weird.. Maybe its linked to your initial prob that made you change pads to the bendix...

 

Doesnt bro saaber have a workshop (or did i get the wrong person)??? If i'm right, ask him to check the vacuum line and one way valve leading to the brake booster from the pleneum.

The depressing more obvious in the morning.

 

I did check with the Bendix distributors in Malaysia and Singapore. They claim that I need to bed in the pads to about 500 Km....That is quite a lot of distance.

 

But I thought the Bendix website did state that for Bendix Ultimate, no need to bed in. It is pre-conditioned and does not have a titanium strip unlike the rest of the Bendix brake pads.

You should choose the lower range Bendix Advance instead. Co-efficient of friction rated HH 0.45 if i remember correctly, and it's design for normal street use.

Anyway, what pads u using? Stock? Or your foot? Haha!

 

I just find that using original pads make the car moving and braking smooth. With aftermarket, car can brake better but a bit more aggressive and bite....Or is it just me?
