But come to think of it, there is NO NEED as he has already made quite a tidy sum from me and collected the commission from their own company. They won't sell something to me at cost price. No matter how cheap they sell the car to you, they have already factored in their own Ang Pow component. And it is not small. My take : No Need. Akula Turbocharged January 24, 2008 Share January 24, 2008 Change a few cars but never gave AP at all, If happy with SE service and attitude then recommend more ppl to them, think its the best way, cos rewarding good service and they get more money too. The way you describe sounds like 'bribing' the SE to give you preferential treatment, like deliver your car faster (and in the process delay other customers' cars ). When the SE calculates how much they sell the car to you and the freebies, all costs like commissions to middleman and stuff are already factored in. Sniperben Neutral Newbie January 24, 2008 Share January 24, 2008 my colleague once got an ang pow from a customer.. that couple is very superstitious and wanted their car plate to be ready and wrap with red paper before they arrive.. they arrived on a "good timing", open up the car plate that is wrapped using red paper, fixed up the car plate personally and when it is done, my colleague shouted "HUAT AH".. the couple then give an ang pow to my colleague before driving off..
