2nd Hand Integra??

I think the Integra was sold for low 70's in 2006. Those same cars r being sold high 60's or even low 70's now. Since the 1st owner didnt take much depreciation, then as 2nd owner u may kena esp when the car reaches close to the 5th year. The brakes need to be beefed up for stock car. Why dont u consider a new Civic Type R JDM? This car will give NSX a run for it's money on the track stock [thumbsup] The depreciation will be similiar to a 2nd hand GSR & u get warranty as well?

I test drove a manual integra the other time when I was still searching for a new ride.

Overall quite ok. But the interior of a integra can easily bored u off about a year, for mi few months depending on ur character.

Power wise...I must say is not enough for a 2l coupe. Mods is a must. Boot area is good considering is a coupe. Back passengers seat is decent.

I'm not sure if its mi but i think the gear is kinda too high. Hard to rest my left arm.

Oh..if u must buy..get one with sunroof!!

Its always nice to drive a vtec sly.gif

i've been driving my KM integra GSR for 2.5yrs & would have to say that it is 1 of the best coupes in recent history. It's sporty looking (esp if on aftermarket kits), fuel efficient (mine auto, 11.5km/litre,75% highway/25% urban), can comfortably seat 4 average adults & have a big boot to match. It still never fail to attract glances at traffic lights. [thumbsup]

Perhaps u can post at integra.sg forums. You'll definitely get more responses from like-minded integra owners & those who may be selling off their rides [;)]

Good luck!

glances at traffic light? LOL

Not yet. I'm sure ITR has better power and response...

But the way u put it...ITR is worst than GSR

pardon my english. You were saying that the normal GSR has not enough power.

I was asking if you were referring to the GSR?

For the Type-R, with 220hp, I sure it will be adequant for you. :)

Ar...yeah...I was toking about GSR. 160 for a 2l coupe is not very impressive to think that EG9 1.6l is already 160. Though I know the wide cam is the key.

the EG9 1.6L block was tuned to produce more power.

the 2.0l block in the GSR hasn't been tuned to it's maximum. If power-hungry, there's always the type R.

Its the emission ruling... back at those EG/EK era... emission ruling is much lax... now with Euro III/ IV ... you cannot produce any of these B-series engines coz there are no mkts for you to sell to... not that Honda can't make... makes no sense to make anymore...

Also EG/EK civics are also very weak in low-mid end torque... the K20A3(GSR/TypeS) and K20A(TypeR) are much much stronger in the torque region due to i-Vtec which has variable timing. In everyday driving... the K20series feels much more "punchy" compared to a B-series which you need to rev >6000rpm to feel the power

I agree with you about the turning radius. I test drove a teg gsr m before. Power is good. Cornering is impressive, except for the turning radius. [rolleyes] Interior, I think celica is better, though plasticky somewhat.

Then again, buy teg is not for interior. I think must look at the overall package. [sly] If I had to buy a car again, I would choose a dc5r. Outright brute muscle! [sly]

Civic type R JDM was one first choice cos its nice and its new (not 2nd hand)...but bro....Bo Gao Lui....and Integra is chio and always been one of my choices...

but i did hear from some bros that the Integra GSR is under powered for a 2 litre car...unless its a Type R....
