Raymansg 1st Gear March 25, 2008 Share March 25, 2008 (edited) Driving along lane 2 ECP on 24.03.08 (on leave), cruising at 90. Saw a white Mazda 3 overtaking me, nothing out of the ordinary. Saw also a red WRX speeding like hell alternating between lanes 1 and 2. Did not care, a WRX comes with good brembos. All of a sudden, the idiotic Mazda driver panicked (I think) and started to swerve into my lane when he was exactly beside me. I would understand (but still would be p****d) if he accelerated and cut into my lane. But he just swerved into my lane. Luckilly, I always check my side mirrors and I was fortunate enough to have checked it before (when I noticed the WRX from hell approaching) and I swerved also to my left, jammed my brakes for a short while and continued driving so that he can move in front of me (besides, jamming brakes on the highway and stopping there is a hazard) ... I horned him twice and he sped away at speeds way above 100. I was shocked so I did not register his plate number ... But I know it had a spoiler. Anyway, recovered and continued on my way to Bras Basah to donate some 2nd hand stuff to the SWCA. Ehh... at Middle road, I spotted the Mazda again. Some more red light so, I took out my camera phone and snapped a picture of this lousy driver. My advice to you if you are reading (I hope you are) is that if you are not good enough to drive on the right fast lane, drive in lane 2 ... like I always do. Lane 1 is reserved for people in a genuine hurry, chiongsters and a few madmen like the driver of the red WRX that spooked you. Your terrible driving almost led to an accident. Sony 1st Gear March 25, 2008 Share March 25, 2008 every driver got their bad day and cases of miscalculation and forgetting blindspot. since both car are stopping, why don't you get off your car, knock on the window and interview the driver? or waylaid him and ask

Chrispie 5th Gear March 26, 2008 Share March 26, 2008 Sometimes i see drivers like that on the road.. i just smile.. no point getting worked up. IT makes me wonder what they are thinking really... always see cars zig zag zig zag.. in the end i stick to my lane still faster than them... Maybe they should know a straight line is the shortest.
