Once you are married 10-15 years, come back again & post. Married a few year is nothing bro. No offence .

 

I know of v few couples who still hold hands after 15 years of marriage, If can talk civily to each other without is considered an achievement.

 

I have been married 15 years - in early 1993. Still good but rarely hold hands with wife - most of the time hold hands with kids.

 

But if alone, got lah, sometimes will hold hands with wifey.

i bet the answer for 99% of us who ask is "although you are not brad pitt(substitute with who she likes) you are safe and gimme security. so i settle for you."

understand you come from a well, above 'average' family say with a silver spoon. many people can consider themselve happily married and has gone thru mostly the best but yet the worst since $$ solve many problems in SG.

Interesting topic and eloquent prose from quite a few mcf guys ... u guys sure can write. but i can see who are the few who have seen and been thru some stuff, even if they don't say it. Figures don't lie - 6 in 10 pp i know have already split up and only in their mid 30s.

 

imo, marriage these days don't last due to many factors and high expectations. Better for those who are not sure to stay single. Getting married is ezy, staying married a different story.

I guess everyone is still in their learning stages when it comes to marriage, whether is young or old. No one is perfect....

 

Take a step back and see from your partner's point of view....

 

Yep. Thats why they say, "He is your husband, only when the day he died as your husband." and vice versa. Perfect marriage is only determined by death. "Till death do us part".

You know bro.... we have a lot in common. Same type of wife, same short courtship then married. Same thinking. Also having 2 kids... hahaha!

 

Yah! Life is way too short to bother about small things. Look at the big picture, we all have a finite life span, and limited time together. Let's make everyday the best.
