FD2R - cheaper maintenance (ie: FC, oil change/servicing)

STi - Would prefer GD than GE. DCCD does wonders if you love to track.

depends on what your friend needs.

if space is a concern, rx8 is out.

if warranty is a concern, rx8/STi better cos from authorised distributor.

if fuel consumption is a concern, rx8 is prob the worst drinker of the lot though its road tax is the lowest.

though all performance ride, they are still quite different cars altogether - a sedan, a hatch n a 4-door coupe. it's also a choice between NA & TC.

None. All of them have high insurance premium pegged. No longer interested in fast cars, they are not suitable for ICE, too noisy [laugh] More interested in quiet luxury ones.

Wow... looks like the CTR got alot of fans here...

Type R no doubt is the easiest to 'feed' and most problem-free but can it really match the STI for the handling & power and match the refinement and equipment of the RX8???

I personally prefer the Hatchback STI haha.
