Anyone bro or sis here regretted changing their stock exhaust?

Remus and Sebring are the only 2 LTA approved exos for my ride. Would like to heard valuable feedbacks before getting one.

I know the low end wll suffer but the mid and high end will improve together with the sound.

The effects on the low, mid and high are neligible or quite obvious?

urs is auto... a semi flow setup would be most ideal. unless u would wanna give up street driving totally.

if straight thru, ur exhaust sounds good. but low end will definately suffer. imagine loud sound at traffic lights, but car didnt move much. others will prolly be sniggering at the sides.

check if either remus or the sebring is semi flow before commiting. u might be surprise that maybe an illegal muffler will yield more gains den these 2 approved ones. but of cuz it comes with a price tag. $500

When you talk of mid and high end, what sort of rpm ranges are you talking about and in your daily driving, do you even hit those rpm range? [sly]

Mind you, petrol not cheap nowadays.... [:p]

changed mine to remus. low end lost neligible. perhaps i took out my reasonator too. but mid and high end can feel the difference. more air "free-flowing" outwards. [;)]

Yup. Remus and Sebring are semi flow. But don't like the feeling of being stopped by TP even though got cert to prove that the exos is LTA approved. [shakehead]

Changing from stock... never!

Changing from a fully straight thru to a twin semi flow muffler, probably.

Changed back, then changed back again. =/

But they're both LTA unfriendly anyway. [:/]

The effects are very obvious. Even between 2 so-called free flowing exhaust already can feel alot of difference.

Not to mention changing from a restrictive n conservative stock system. [;)]

just get the aftermarket exhaust.sounds nicer and sportier also.

lag or not is very subjective.best is you try it out yourself and feel it.

if its not up to your expectations , then just strip it out and sell it ,simple as that.

i last time always hear people complaining about losing low end here and there, setup not responsive bla bla, till i try it out myself and i find it pretty ok leh.

try it,then see how. [;)]

Bro, i'm running on Sebring [wave][wave][wave]

Low end suffered [nod][nod][nod] but mid to high is better as compared to stock [nod][nod][nod]

Been enjoying it since i installed 2.5 years back especially the exhaust note when you ram above 3K Rpm [rolleyes][rolleyes][rolleyes]

By the way, i do not have those si mi tuning add ons ... [laugh][laugh][laugh]

But of couse, don't expect a Mazda 3 to really be able to cheong & chiet others after all these mods or add ons cos it's jus a 107BHP 1.6L(A) ride [;)]

After much deliberation, i finally went to install a Remus exos today. I was kinda surprised that it wasnt as bad as i thought.

Low end loss not that obvious. But definitely driving is much more smoother. Soundwise, its a lil bassier than stock.

Now to vicom to get my ride inspected and

Just a change of muffler is not gonna get much gain in performance.

You will feel that the car has "lighter breath" and rear cruising speed faster....sound effect wise, the aftermartekt exhaust will usually be louder than stock...but in a sporty way. If you value peace and quiet, I advise you give this a miss.

Most LTA friendly exhaust are semi flow.

Not so heart pain in the pocket, sound is loud [rolleyes]

Butt power is minimal [thumbsdown]

Dismantle it after a year...now drive in peace [laugh]
