Peregrine Clutched August 31, 2008 Share August 31, 2008 Yes the 2nd photo is of a Strikemaster trainer jet (called Jet Provost T5 in the RAF). See: http://www.airliners.net/photo/BAC-84-Jet/0672742/M/ The rocket is Hawk anti-aircraft missile.

Sarong1 1st Gear August 31, 2008 Share August 31, 2008 Thanks for uploading the pictures. I think the open house was a huge success, there isn't seemed any hassle, at least when I visited this afternoon. The open house is necessary to not only educate and inform the public on our defence assets, I think the taxpayers ought to know that the defence budget has been well-spent and the men behind all these machines are always ready to respond to threats. Do not take peace for granted.
Mr_b20 6th Gear August 31, 2008 Share August 31, 2008 RASF Open House 2008 at Paya Lebar Airbase, here's some Photos n Videos to share Thank you for sharing. The RSAF have come along way since 1968 starting with Cessna trainers & 2nd hand Hawker Hunter fighters and has progressed tremendously to defend our sky against surprised attacks. I am proud of our Air Force and the part it plays in our national security. LOL ! are u for real? "tremendously defend our sky" ? if really anyone wants to destroy singapore will be flattened by a nuclear bomb launched from another country and control by GPS to land in the middle of orchard road. the pilots are still sleeping!
