Reason is that it causes unnecessary distraction to other road users

Ya, thats a very stupid rule. Wonder which overpaid idiot came up with this. If that is the case, y not band all flashy & expensive cars as well because they distract a driver even more.

 

Also, they might want to consider banning all ladies(chio ones) from walking along the road also.

Also, I saw a Swift install a 3rd or 4th brake light to emulate the F1 cars.......
