Blackchicken Neutral Newbie October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 Erm, maybe i am judging. But is giving a LV bag a good way to please your child.? If the child is sensible, they might even reject such extravagant gifts from their parents, knowing the importance of $$. I am not saying the reporter is completely right, they like to tua kang to make the read more 'interesting', as i do have experience with reporters who interviewed people i noe. Based on what is written in the blog, i guess most people can 'judge' the character of this girl.

Vyap Clutched October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 her stupid parents ingrained in her mind set that $$ is easy to come by! it's the parents faults! When I was in college.. I have to work for my own pocket $$ to buy anything that is for leisure. My parents gave me just enough $1.80 per day for food to educate me the value of $ is not easy to come by! What a brat..dumb parent educating her the wrong way ...... Even now, I educate my kids the way my parents thot me on value of $. My primary sch boy can tell me, papa, I don't need this story book, don't buy, now economy no good, save more $$! I can borrow from library! I was totally impressed & shocked he mentioned economic bad time now for a P4! also asking me to save more $$..The P4 boy is saving 50-80%of his school pocket $$......As parents, we have the moral duty to educate our kids correctly and have empathy etc
Klinz Neutral Newbie October 30, 2008 Share October 30, 2008 Guess it's a case of naive..Thinking reporters will report word by word. I think our local U should start to teach students how to handle media especially now we are in digital age...news got around so quickly... Well, she talk too much and that's give report a chance to 'add' a bit of salt + lemon..and twist a bit here and there that's what we got NEWS...and that how it create a bit of hoo-ha and that's what the publisher want... It's doesn't help by Breaking the Silence...it will create more harm than good cos the public already have negative view liao...she shld just and the famous quote...Let's move on....
