Looking for car with good fuel efficiency

will be needing it for driving long distances.. used to have a hyundai matrix and now chucking it away after 4 years..

 

will be looking for a 1.5/1.6 cc car with good fuel efficiency.. can someone recommend?

 

speed/handling not my real piority. good for money's worth esp in fuel is essential

 

also a question, if my old car is registered with my dad, can he withdraw his COE and my mum register the new car using her name?

am not rich also so hoping to find one below 60 k..

 

whats ur take on vios/axio/jazz/city/latio?

 

not really well-read into cars what u all think is the best catch now?

COE is tied to the car. Your papa car withdraw (scrap?) then he get his COE rebate accordingly.

 

Your mama need to bid for a new COE for her new car.

buy or browse a car mag seen the back section where they show all the car specs including fuel consumption

 

 

if your aim to buy a fuel efficient car (assuming you are worried about fuel consumption, hence money) then you should choose a small cc car like perhaps 1000 below or 1000-1200cc cars.

I'm driving an Axio. It should fit u just nice. Me getting 13-14km/l even on hard driving and 80% city driving. If 80% expressway driving(When I go reservist), it can hit 16km/l, traveling from SLE->TPE->PIE->ECP->Changi.

smartmax's recommendation is good...

next is u need to compare to price range as well...

I believe vios would be the cheapest among the recommendation....
