Rochelle Neutral Newbie November 11, 2008 Share November 11, 2008 (edited) hi, all cars got problem. not just contis, even jap/korean cars, his 3 series is problly the slip gear problem, which is a lemon from factory, else basically, beemers and mercs dont have much electronic problems. and generally the 3er and c classes have good Fc. else, buy a manual renault megane. they are problem free too, except the extremely poor resale value. love, rochelle. I am considering to look for something which is less problematic. Thanks I've driven a couple and they basically are problem free. I believe a lot of it is how you drive the car and how you take care of the car.

BMW320i Neutral Newbie November 12, 2008 Share November 12, 2008 Problems with cars are inevitable regardless of manufacturer. If you check the recall list just about every single manufacturer had had some sort of recall or defect. Boils down to your luck.
Eyke Supercharged November 12, 2008 Share November 12, 2008 that's like saying: everyone makes mistakes, so Hitler is about the same as Mother Teresa. all cars have problems, but some more than others
BMW320i Neutral Newbie November 12, 2008 Share November 12, 2008 I am able to prove all cars have their fair share of problems and recalls. Are you able to prove some cars have more problems over others ?

Beng2 5th Gear November 12, 2008 Share November 12, 2008 Another good reason in buying Volvo is that all the models look alike in the eyes of non-fans. Buy one second-hand car, slap on a new plate number and voila, you've got yourself a brand-new car
Mojoe Neutral Newbie November 12, 2008 Share November 12, 2008 (edited) errmm... isn't this kind of vague? Ferrari I heard is quite problem free, just remember to pull out the pump before you leave the station... What about an Aston Martin? 007 drives one so should be problem free. The Focus ST should be fine as well since it won a few Manufacturers titles in WRC. The new RS6? The XC90 is pretty alright as well since so many on the road... Fiat 500 is well regarded in Europe... My 4 yrs + Focus hatchback is pretty fine too... no major issue at all... low mileage... I'm selling... The point is, what exactly are you looking for other than a "problem-free conti"?
