With the G or the C?🤣

when my C hit the G, the hot will get wet, fly to the cloudy cloud 9, and it will get windy with the blowing that follows you know. [:p] [laugh] [laugh]

MetMalaysia detects tropical storm Senyar moving into Strait of Malacca

PETALING JAYA: A tropical storm named Senyar has been detected at 3.6°N, 99.9°E off northern Sumatra and about 102km southwest of Lumut, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department.

Its director general Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip said the storm is moving east-southeast into the Strait of Melaka and heading west of the peninsula at about 24km/h.

“This situation is likely to bring continuous heavy rain, strong winds and rough seas across Peninsular Malaysia, particularly in the western and central states, beginning November 27,” he said.

He said MetMalaysia has updated the tropical storm warning, continuous rainfall warning and strong winds and rough seas warning for Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor, effective from Nov 27 to 29.

Mohd Hisham said MetMalaysia will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates based on the latest conditions.

“The public is advised to remain vigilant and follow forecasts and warnings via the METMalaysia website, the myCuaca app, official social media and the hotline at 1 300 22 1638,” he added.

This is the one that smacked Hat Yai. Although we aren’t that close to its path we might get the  fringes which could still bring heavy rain and winds, but nothing we are not familiar with. Just be aware in inclement weather, visibility is poor, roads might flood and trees and branches could randomly fall so just stay indoor and wait out the storm is always safest.

Should be not that bad already. Royal Caribbean announced this morning they will cancel Penang port Tomorrow, but at 3.40pm they updated that they will still head there. But bad rainy weather should persist.

Malaysia meteorological department having a media conference at 4pm for the latest updates. Yet to see any report of it yet.
