Hehehoho Neutral Newbie February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 Brought a ring, 99 pink roses, a nice teddy bear, a card and a big red box, and made some sandwiches...... Put the bear, the card and the ring into the red box, and everything else in a luggage bag in the boot of my car. The bear is actually hugging the card and the ring inside the box. Rented a yatch for 3 hours just for the two of us, set sail from Changi in the evening. Towards the middle of the journey, we started to eat the sandwich.... after which i went back to the cabin to fetch her the flowers from the bag.... then the red box.... she opened the box, took out the bear, read the card, saw the ring, cried cried cried then say yes!!! It was almost a perfect proposal.... except that i forgot to buy anti-motion sickness pills, end up we requested to sail after 90 minutes instead of the paid 3 hours.... memories memories memories

Josho 1st Gear February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 Wow, that sounds really a big affair, having friends to help out and video cam. I asked around some of my female friends, they got married without hubby proposing, and they regretted. At least, there will be some memory of it to keep. One of the wedding dinner I attended actually showcast their wedding photos but in a story with dialogue of how the guy proposed to the girl. They took their photoshoot with a storyline, by the beach, with musical box and proposal ring (the actual props used by the guy when he proposed haha). Many of us were very impressed. Yea... proposal is one imptnt thing for a gal tho. For my pal, he secretly had the proposal video cam down and show it to her by surprise during the banquet. Of course, touching. Me as a photographer for his big day felt so touch tho.

Thug Clutched February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 My family planning for a trip to Hokkaido. It was the first trip to Japan for me and her. Both very excited. Deep down I'm already planning for my proposal. Hokkaido, snowy place. Where else is better for a place like this to propose? We reached our hotel on the first day at about 5-6pm, however it was very dark like 8pm here in sg. Went to settle down in the room and I ask her to have a walk outside with mi. It was damn freaking cold. Both of us can hardly walk but we were overwhelmed by our first touch of snow. Saw 2 gigantic snowman outside the hotel. "This is it" I thought to myself. I ask her to help mi take a picture infront of the 2 snowman. As she was peeping through the view-finder. I kneeled down and proposed. Getting married this year end!! Stary Turbocharged February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 (edited) cannot be la dey....our birth rate so low one.... birth rate low becos many got married this way, and after that, all scared liow and took precaution. Human are rebelious creatures. When single, they do married stuff. When married, they do back single stuff. Carndablues Clutched February 25, 2009 Share February 25, 2009 [laugh] winner of all Thank you! Thank you! Was a joke by the way! But I have made a few too many "shotgun" jokes when I heard that some friends had proposed to their long-time girlfriends...have stopped that now, so it is more common than commonly believed! ↡ Advertisement
