RT and IPT question

I went for RT last year then follow by IPT, which means no RT for this year. So for now, I just need to clear my IPPT only, and if I failed, I need to go to RT next year, right?

My friend just told me that if I book my IPT this year and go through it, I no need to go for RT next year? May I know if this is true? If it work this way, then lots of ppl will rather go for IPT and no one will go for RT.

He also added that basically every year have to take 1 time of IPT.

Can someone please clarify this to me?

Yes. Because you are only considered to have failed your ippt at the end of your window. (Your birthday) You will only have to take RT next year.

If you know you cannot pass, just book yourself for an IPPT whenever you are free. Most testing centers will allow you to leave (and consider you to have taken and failed) once you clear at least 3 static stations. You can just take the chin up (hang there and come down), sit up (lie there and stand up, broad jump (jump 1 cm) and go home.

In a way, going for yearly IPT = no more RT?

from what i know, it should be.

But note that there's no incentive ($) given for IPT.

I advice u better choose RT vs IPT.

I am not going to review why.

You just think short period of training vs long period of training.

first month of RT.

- twice a week (8 lessons)

second month of RT

- thrice a week (12 lessons)

If pass your IPPT during RT, you will not need to take IPPT for current year and previous year.

If you failed your IPPT during RT, you will still have to go for IPPT, upon failing your IPPT, you need not go RT immediately, just wait for next year and go RT.

IPT is siong, if you choose it. As IPT is cater for those who think that they can pass, and they will put in a lot of efforts on you, training you like you are a recruit.

if u can NEVER pass IPPT, u sld book IPT every year. Since you have taken ur previous IPT, just book the next IPT for new window (within 9mths upon start of window). finish it and done for that year. repeat the same cycle again.

It is better than booking your own IPPT, failed and then come back for 2 mths RT.

I have attended about 3 IPT and i dont find it siong. Even if siong its ok..better than attending 2 mths of RT where the 2nd mth eats up 3 times per week.

To some is simple, to me no. I always fail my IPPT since been an PTE. <_<

I never say it's headache about the training if you see my question is asking about the IPT. In fact, I do not mind going for such training be it RT or IPT, at least I get to train up by force. [thumbsup]

i tink i read some posts which r diff from wat i understand from dis shitty ippt rt ipt stuffs.dis is wat i understand:

IPT - take dis if u know u cant pass ippt ever, but don wanna spend at least 2 mths taking rt.cos ipt only 2 times a wk times 4 wks = 1 mth.after ipt, u don hv to take ur ippt for that current window.

IPPT - if u take n fail, u go to RT.take ur IPPT if u tink u can pass.den when u fail, mayb after training in RT, u can pass, den gd.u r cleared for dat window.

RT - 1st phase - 2 times a wk for 4 wks.on de last session if u pass, den u r cleared for dat window. if fail, go on to 2nd phase.3 times a wk for 4 wks.if at de end u stil fail, den no prob...u already cleared for dat window.

don refer to this yr or next yr.refer to this window n next window.cos if ur birthday is in may, n u finish ur ipt or rt in jan or feb, u still hv to take ur ippt b4 ur birthday in may.cos u just completed ur obligations for de last window.

YES. even if fail ippt.

and if u pass ur ippt at the end of ipt, u still get your incentive awards.

Yup, i am aware that tho. Much as I wish to receive, but i know it is hard for me. [laugh]

IPT already inclusive of IPPT test...at the final session u will do ippt....if u did not pass, its ok...thats it for this window. no more liability for this window.

im lazy to exercise so IPT is ok for me. I only need to exercise for 8 sessions of 3 hrs in 1 year..

if i want to pass IPPT, its about dedicating regular amt of time to build up ur body...therefore more commitment and time consuming.

So which one is good for lazy ppl like me? excerise daily or exercise 8 times a year only? LOL

Same mind set as ya. Siong also that period of time. However Maju training is the same as RT type. [angel]

Finish my IPPT for this window but flunked lo. So I am considering for IPT since my friend told me that can take it yearly for 8 lesson only, comparing to 2 mths of RT training. We are the regulars for RT, cannot pass type. [laugh]
