Altivo 3rd Gear March 16, 2009 Share March 16, 2009 If he was in bolehland, he would have been beaten to death on the spot! that is very true.... i've seen before something similar while on route to kuantan. A wira had crashed into a few roadside stalls and the villagers there were furious had gathered into a mob and were demanding compensation from the driver. They were pushing and shoving him and even the two policemen who were there dare not do anything to stop them ↡ Advertisement

Cleefho 1st Gear March 16, 2009 Share March 16, 2009 if a fallen tree trunk or burst tyre and people start to brake, the accident can still happens. If a proper distance is followed, the motorcyclist could be unhurt. But in this case, it was triggered by the jaywalker and hence he have to shoulder the blame for the death. Carndablues Clutched March 16, 2009 Share March 16, 2009 I have to disagree. The b@stard started a chain of events that killed the MCyclist. The lorry driver is innocent. The brief report didn't say the lorry driver was being arressted or punished. Only the MF. Keeping a safe distance in this case might not have save the victim as he was bumped into the path of the lorry. I don't disagree that the truck driver is innocent, but the story did not say the motorcyclist was bumped into the lorry, it says the jaywalker was bumped into the other lane, the motorcyclist, failing to keep a safe distance, bumped into the car in front of him, and the truck driver, also failing to keep a safe distance, bumped into the motorcyclist. I wouldn't be surprised if the truck driver is fined.

Galantspeedz Turbocharged March 16, 2009 Share March 16, 2009 I ever saw a group of people about 4-5, both genders, on a expressway, i think is TPE or BKE, walking along the road shoulder, duno is they cross already or trying to cross.... anyway it is an accident waiting to happen. Saw a fella cross ECP too..... but a few cars managed to avoid him, including me. Anyway this type of people, i won't have any regrets if i accidentally run over them.
