should i go buy a steering lock too?

I went in boleh land once a week for gas, my ride is a malaysia make.

Are they more merciful towards their national product? [sweatdrop]

I think they have a better chance of resell in their local market... [sweatdrop]

the saleperson from autobac told me to get those bat type steering lock.

secure and also using it as a weapon.

ermm, am i correct to say, the safest carpark in boleh land is city square?

last sunday, i went in for gas and dinner.

when coming back for my car, we saw a guard patroling the area.

Was quite impressed by this act, i even told my gal the above statement [thumbsup]

yup i think getting steering wheel lock is better than having nothing at all. And rem to park head in. Went to KL and saw this Singapore car park backside in, no wheel lock and left the GPS holder on the windscreen. Hmmm i tot it is kinda unsafe. When u have your gps holder on the windscreen, u are kinda telling the robber that you might have a gps somewhere

ermm, sorry to ask this.

Head in first or back in, does it matters?

Any reasoning?

i always thought the pros like singapore, always back in.

whileas, in boleh land, they head in cause not so pros.

Talking about GPS, i going to buy one on the upcoming pc show..

must remember to remove it when i park the car..

admit boleh land, is scary.

they could have driven in their own car to get parking ticket. Steal and drive out the victim car with the parking ticket. Come back later and claim they lost the ticket to their own car.

Edit

PS, come to think of it, they don't even need to drive in their car. Just walk to the parking entrance and press for a ticket, pay RM1 to steal a car. These will save them the hassle for reporting lost ticket to their own car.

true... thats' why i said DIFFICULT (NOT IMPOSSIBLE)

park head in.... towing is much more DIFFICULT from the back as the front wheels are "movable". Howeevr, all these can be overcome if your car is attractive enough and the right people with right equipment with right mindset sees your attractive car

Just came back from JUSCO Bt Indah today....

Lost my Parking ticket. Reported to information counter and they referred me to the Info counter at the central part of the shopping centre. Have to go 3rd floor MAXIS shop to copy own driving licence(ID) for RM$0.10 and bring to them. Must fill in form. Then they call a security to follow you to your car. Wtach you open the car with key to proof yr ownership. Then they further verify all the car make/model/number plate before they give you yr coupon.

Overall I feel safe as it is more difficult(not impossible) to steal and make away with yr car...

At woodlands, again I saw the "ambush" by the Police on a Cub on U-Turning traffic. I normally U-TUrn at the leag one 500m ahead to pump at Shell.

didnt know they will do this. good for singapore's cars

Last Sunday went to Jusco Tebrau City. Saw another Singapore registered Red SUV/MPV windscreen kena smashed in the sheltered car park on the way out. This car parked quite far away from the entrances [shakehead]. I suspect, they have car or bike just waiting at the roadside (they don;t even enter the carpark). So they just smashed, grab whatever and rush back to their car/bike.

So, dear fellow Singaporen, kindly park your car near the entrances. If no lots, get your family members to alight 1st, while you circle around for a lot to park. It is inconvenient to have windscreen smashed especially over a weekend.

Regards,

Bros, would it be safe to travel to JB with new Toyota Wish? Is it true that they like to steal MPV? Thanks for advice ...
